I figure they plan on using Vermealan now that he is healthy along with Mathieu to be Alba's LB back up options.
Realistically if Grimaldo lives up to his potential could be loaned out for a season or 2 when we would be selling Mathieu/Verm and he could come in and be the one rotating with Alba while also getting experience for this season/and next instead of playing with Barca B. We should send him to some team where he will play like Celta or something

xD Babunski is not there anymore. Signed for Sampdoria youngsters. Anyway, he was never very good. He was just a rotation player at the B. Bicho is not very good either.

I always admired Babunski and thought the coach was an idiot to keep him on the bench and he impressed me whenever called upon I had this feeling that he's not our player anymore though I wasn't entirely sure

Samper won't 'cause we're short in midfield. Hard to say anything about Lee as he's still only 17. I think Halilovic will stay, depends on how he does and if he keeps improving. Grimaldo most probably will leave eventually, although maybe if Adriano leaves LE will take a look at him.

Any of those names leaving are disgraceful and just a small indication of the incompetence.

Other than Lee, I have seen all of those players many times now, enough for it to be obviously clear that they are future starters for this club or at the VERY least role players, rotation players.

There is no doubt in my mind, 2 full seasons of Grimaldo playing 30+ games and he goes past Jordi Alba's level.

Same for Samper and any midfielder we have not named Busquets or Iniesta.

Adama I am not quite as sold on, but I cant see how he is any less of a player than Munir or Sandro.

For once,we agree on something.Must be the first time.

Can you blame him for not trusting in the youth that much though? At this level you must win almost every game and his position is always at stake... He does trust in Rafinha or Roberto or Munir and Sandro at the start of last season. It's not an easy topic for sure.

Its a cycle. You can only trust those players when you give them chances, if you dont give them chances then there is no reason to trust them.

Nobody ever won their place playing random 10 minutes here and there. Or not at all.

There is zero excuse for playing Mathieu leftback which in turn forces Grimaldo out.

We already seen Mathieu at leftback, and it sucked.

Do you rate Grimaldo for the first team? 3 years ago he was looking impressive. He was only 16 when he was one of Spain U19's best players. Then he got that ACL (?) injury and ever since he's not looking as impressive anymore. Looks weak-ish defensively, like Alba.
