CL SF : Real Madrid Vs Juventus

+1, Although, maybe not THAT optimistic hehehe . The game will be decided on the field. RM has the upper hand on paper but doesn't mean it will translate on them winning the tie. Hell, a W1-0 in Turin and a L 2-1 in Madrid is enough for Juventus to go through.

Besides Juve is so  hard  to defat at their stadium ,they don't lose at Juve Stadium since January 2013 ffs    (Juve-Sampdoria 1-2 and the top scorer was Icardi ... )
tbf Juve defence was awful today , the 2 goals conceded were enough embarassing , but it looked like the typical loss of concentration by who doesn't care about league anymore

No one is dissing you. You just need to grow a thicker skin and realize that not all people have the same opinion as you. Some people think it's going to be difficult for both sides. Some think it will be easy for Juve. And some think it'll be easy for Real Madrid. Why didn't we, Real Madrid fans, complain about some Juve fans being overconfident of defeating us? They have the right to believe in what they want to believe.

As for the league itself, Seria A, it sucks. Plain and simple. And it has been this way since Milan's downfall in Europe. After Inter's triumph in Europe, you didn't do anything worthy of the name. While Bayern, Barça and Real Madrid conquered Europe and remained consistently great at the highest level for many years, Seria A plummeted into a new level of suckage for many reasons. This is not me mocking your league, this is just a fact.

As for the game itself, we're the underdogs. We'll play you without Modric, WITH Bale, while still fighting for the league title (which seems more and more difficult with every game passing) whereas you have the title already in the bag. Not to mention that we're fighting a CL curse that nobody before us could overcome; winning the CL two years in a row.

So please stop trying to make us look arrogant and overconfident. We're neither of those things. We respect you and we realize how dangerous your team can be. We're just here in the semi-finals for the fifth year running trying our best, despite injuries and everything else to win our 11 CL title while still fighting to win the hardest league in the world.

Yeah, that is so true. Very few of the player's had their minds in this game. Hopefully VS Fiorentina we end this so we could lock the scudetto and then we can sleep in the remaining matches.

I am actually quite arrogant and full of confidence. But top marks to Carthage. Dido would be proud of his post...

Spot on, I have just one question   Do you by that bold sentence mean Bundesliga or CL?
Because Bayern aside I don't rate Bundesliga that high and more talented than Serie A. Sure They have more money and stadiums, but I think that With Bayern put aside Top4 teams in Serie A can beat top4 teams in Bundes

It's a good post, BUT, If there is an underdog, it is Juventus..........also, If we say that Serie A sucks because of their underachievement since Inter, the same can be said about the Premier League, no? Also, I don't think La Liga is the HARDEST and most competitive league in the world, that could be attributed to the Premier League.

What is a fact is that Serie A is NOT the most competitive nor the hardest or the one with the most talent, that's for sure.

But at least you acknowledge the importance of this semi-final for both teams. In any case, it will all be decided not by words, but by FUTBOL!

I think the Bundesliga was already breathing down Seria A's neck during the Dortmund years right after Inter's fall from grace, then briefly leapfrogged it in terms of strength when Klopp's Dortmund and Heynckes' Bayern blossomed into two of Europe's heavyweights. Right now though, I agree with you, Seria A and Bundesliga are on equal footing.
