This is the biggest reason Bale is hated, despite sucking, he keep James from playing his best position.

He kind of is though. Basically, in their first choice formation, Real have two forwards in Cronaldo and Bale, a no 10 in James, two 8s in Modric and Kroos and one DM in Benzema

Benzema, James, Ronaldo, Chicha (per minutes at least).
So Bale is the worst of the attackers with stats (and that should be his forté).

They have Cronaldo who scores 50 goals a season and Benzema who scores 25-30.

They don't need another player who's only good at finishing and nothing else, Ronaldo's better at that than Bale.

I agree that Ronaldo is miles better than bale. but bale went from having a free roll at spurs. to having to play around Ronaldo. yet he sill has a recoed of 1 goal in 2 games. so he has not been as bad as people say. and he defo don't deserve to get blamed for everything.

I don't care. im English he is welsh. im a Liverpool fan he played for the spuds. I was just pointing out how fickle the Madrid fans are. but a goal stat of 1 in 2 is not shit is it. if Ronaldo was out of the team and bale was playing through the middle like he did at spurs he would be playing much better. but as you say Ronaldo is miles better so he has to get the spot in the middle. but I still think bale is being treated badly in spain. other more experienced players in the Madrid team have not been great. but its bale getting the stick.

He doesn't combine with his full back. He doesn't combine with anyone else. He loses the ball if he can't run straight into open space but an opponent is in the way.
That stuff matters when games are close.

No doubt he's being scapegoated, but then noone forced him to join Real Madrid on 50 quadrillion million per week.
He could've joined Utd and enjoyed unlimited adoration for his world class quality.

cant knock Ronaldo with the crazy goal stats he has. but he is far from a good team player mate. his work rate off the ball is on par with baloteli.

true. but bale is being asked to do a difernt job at Madrid. bit like ibra when he was at barca. and cavani at psg. some players can play a difernt roll with no problem. suarez is doing well at barca playing 2nd fiddle to messi. bale will never be at his best when Madrid just play to get the best from Ronaldo. its just bad luck that Ronaldo is so good bale has to play 2nd fiddle to him. im not saying he should allways play. or that he is a top world class player. im just saying Madrid are not getting the best from him. but even then his stats are not bad. plus the worst thing the Madrid fans can do is boo the lad. it just puts more pressure on him.

but the Madrid team is set up to get the best from Ronaldo. put Ronaldo out wide for 2 games and watch him sulk and do nothing. bale has to give up some of his game to get the best from Ronaldo. and that's fair seeing how good Ronaldo is. but the Madrid fans should see this. if Madrid had 3 ronaldos. thay each wouldent get 50 goals a season.

Ronaldo plays same position on the left as Bale does on the right. Bale doesn't offer any width. Difference is Ronaldo moves smarter offensively and gets into better positions.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. If you're as bad as Bale on a team where you have to be a supporting player, and can't contribute with great end product consistently while at the same time having the worst technique on the team making Carvajal and Arbeloa look like prime Ronaldinho

your expecting bale to do the same things as Ronaldo playing in a team that's set up to keep Ronaldo happy and scoring. and booing him when its not happening. the guy came from spurs to Madrid. plays 2nd fiddle to Ronaldo. has a 1 in 2 record. and because he is not scoring 50 goals a season you have your pants up your bum. take the day off mate. james. pepe. kroos. ramos are not world beaters are they.
