Another Belgian player in critical condition

Tim Nicot (23) of the Belgian 3rd league club FCO Beerschot-Wilrijk suffered a cardiac arrest during a tournament in Hemiksem and had to be reanimated on the pitch. He was put in an artificial coma and is still in critical condition. I really hope that he will make it.

This year two Belgian players tragically died already - Junior Malanda (†20) as passenger in a car crash and Gregory Mertens (†24) after a cardiac arrect during a match.

It looks as if the players really are reaching their limits nowadays. It seems to me as if sports medicine needs to investigate this very thoroughly.
