Oh dear, bad, bad weather for Gladbach vs Bursaspor (rain and heavy winds up to 100km/h) - one side has to play with the wind and one against it. Fortunately it is just a friendly. Yann Sommer and Granit Xhaka (who played yesterday) and some others could stay at home today. I think they will not be too sad about that...

LOL, poor Bursaspor - they are against the wind in the first half. It's really funny to see how the ball almost stops in flight when they try to pass it towards Gladbach's goal XD

It's a narrow formation lol. Not exactly LM or RM but LCM and RCM. Assuming that Morata and Dybala will drift wide to make it 4-3-3.

Biggest criticism of him in Madrid was that he didn't have the balls to shoot. He decided to pass into nothingness every time he was alone with the GK.

I would still say Ozil is pretty unconvincing in front of goal, had a couple of chances today where he looked very uncertain.

Oxlade tho...

On the Lyon side, I wish someone would tell the backline that when the opponent has time on the ball you might want to drop 10m and protect against the ball over the top.

just keep in mind the meltdown came right after the Grenier injury... he was the unquestioned leader and most popular player among the youth team players and since they're all youth team players... this was supposed to be his season back after a ton of injuries. When he went down, you could see Lyon just drop intensity as if stunned. They conceded 4 goals in 10 mins right after the incident.

They probably would have reacted better if this was a competitive game. But since it's not, they let the event distract them completely.

Feel bad for the kid... seems like a hip problem and those never heal quickly.
