What the hell is this Bale at #10 shit? I'm thinking it must have been a direct order from Perez to get the best out of Bale because no sane manager would play him there when you have at least 5 players (Isco, Modric, Kroos, James, Benzema) that are better in that position.

A striker I can understand but AM? Laughing

What #10? They are playing the clearest 4-4-2 formation you'll ever see with 2 strikers upfront. Looks like RIP Benzema. They'll play Ronaldo-Bale upfront and keep Benzema around in case the new formation doesn't work out. Then next summer it's either bye bye Benz or bye bye Ronaldo, depending how this system works and how Ronaldo's performances with 31 will be.

First game I'm watching of Benitez' Madrid. Looks like they are back to Mourinhoball. Sitting deep against Spurs in a preseason friendly, letting Spurs have the ball and looking for counters.

he is but it's normal he is playing. our LB back up is injured.

problem is that Coentrao is always injured...

Arbleoa is supposed to be a squad player, kinda mentor for young players, but at this rate he will play quite a bit...

Not sure I agree. Our success pretty much conicided with selling our version, Christian "Wifebeater" Lell, in 2010 hmm

I have to say I was pretty relieved not having to constantly think I could've done better on that field.
