Think this was one of Barcelona's best away performance in years

Anyone that thinks they won't win the league because their defense is crap
Who cares because nobody in the league or the world for that matter has a clue how to stop their front 3, the rest is meaningless chatter.

Re: La Liga 2015/16 Discussion
It wasn't even that. Barcelona controlled over 70% possession at Calderon. And only allowed 2 shots on target with one being the goal. They didn't suffer from any defensive errors and instead made Atletico look very average for majority of the game.
Disappointed that Simeone set up Atletico like a mid table team. Maybe there is a reason why he has never beaten Barcelona. Starting Tiago and Gabi in midfield and Koke at LW was a poor way to go into the match at home.
But full credit to Barcelona in return to make them look that average. Sergi Roberto was even made to look good at RB lol. Vermaelen was solid. Iniesta and Neymar were two best players in the match.

When i say that, i mean the perception that it's crap. Tbh year on year they are the most organised team or one of them.
Their midfield could deal with being improved though, although for the league it won't matter. I think they'll struggle in the CL as i think a healthy Bayern are better but still their attack will carry them AGAIN.

I have warmed up to Sergi after signing him for Newcastle on fifa. Reached 83 and played him as a regista as well

Sociedad struggling for goals this season. 3rd time I've seen them all three times they have looked flat upfront. Vela came back in an awful shape from pre-season. Jonathas is struggling to adapt.
Sociedad aren't even playing that badly.
Pressure on Moyes

Re: La Liga 2015/16 Discussion
Cristiano returned - if it is even fair to say that he left in the first place - in real style. He scored five of his team's six goals against Espanyol and played in Benzema for the other.
The Portuguese gave a Real Madrid side travelling to Barcelona without international duty victims James Rodríguez and Danilo a real shot in the arm. The Portuguese predator made sure no-one was dwelling on their absence.
Cristiano Ronaldo's five-goal haul will go down in history not just because it was the day when he proclaimed himself Real Madrid's top scorer of all time in the league.
The Portuguese star is also the second player in all of Real Madrid's history who has managed to net five away from home in an official game, following Gaspar Rubio in 1929. It is worth bearing in mind that Rubio's came in the Regional Madrid Championship, considered an official tournament at the time in Spain.
Three players have managed to score five goals in the same La Liga game two years on the trot: Campanal (1940/41 and 1941/42), Zarra (1941/42 and 1942/43) and now Cristiano Ronaldo (2014/15 and 2015/16).
Only three players have managed a five-goal haul away from home in the entire history of the league: 1959 Merodio (Athletic), 1996 Peternac (Valladolid) and 2015 Ronaldo (Real Madrid).
Ronaldo has scored five on two occasions (Granada and Espanyol), four on three occasions (Racing, Sevilla and Elche) and another 20 hat-tricks.

Granada just got a legit goal disallowed. I am starting to agree with Harmoinca a bit tbh. The last 2 weeks have been ridiculous...

Re: La Liga 2015/16 Discussion
Agreed. We haven't let a goal in this season, yet we only won our previous games because of refs.
That one was legit though. Always hard for a linesman to see with such a short time to make his decision. But that one should've been a goal.
ROnaldo not scoring minute before was awful...

Real Madrid are really missing Bale close control and dribbling, they are so dependent on him.

People still don't get this? Barcelona are seeking independence. There will always be a slight, hidden bias from Spaniard refs against a Catalan club. If not for footballing reasons then for political ones. See Pique getting booed from Spain fans. It's an undeniable fact like the statistical fact that when 2 persons apply for the same job with the exact same qualification level but one of them has a foreign sounding name and the other has a native name, the one with the foreign sounding name will be in disadvantage. People (and refs) aren't robots. They have their biases and there are lots of reasons for Spaniard refs to be biases towards the capital club.
