Lubezki is a magician. He's guaranteeing that hattrick now. Don't know what can challenge him. Probably only Star Wars, Sicario and Spectre now.

It's even more impressive that it's going to be a three-peat if he does win.

@Firenze @M99

Looks like Nat Wolff is close to becoming Light Yagami in the Death Note film. Perfect casting if they have to do it. I can see him pulling off that character amazingly well.

Could've, would've dominated this decade if the Academy decided not to go bonkers over arguably Scorsese's least best film. Laughing

Well, I don't believe in any source material is unadaptable. The difference between this and Dragonball is that this project has got talent behind it. I LOVED The Guest, and feel like the main character had a lot of similarities with Light because their psyches change drastically througout.

Hugo was great, and I've seen worse from Scorsese. But yeah, Lubezki's work in Tree of Life was amazing.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)

:bow:

Haven't seen it in many years... Downloaded it completely at random, some 20GB Special Edition Bluray( Skynet version), and it was amazing. I just loved it... It certainly looks different than before. Also this was the one with the best ending. I forgot how there was such big breaks from talking, there could be like 20 minutes at times without hearing a word. Didn't move from my seat for 2 and a half hours anyway, I usually take breaks.

I don't want to read anything about the movie even though I know their story. I want the movie fresh for me and enjoy it.
