Vidal saga to come to an end, he will sign for Juventus after Coppa America
Bayer Leverkusen look set to lose one of their most prized assets in Arturo Vidal to Serie A side Juventus, potentially putting an end to the transfer saga.
German tabloid Bild am Sonntag are reporting that 24-year old Vidal will join Juventus once he has completed his Copa America commitments with Chile, who face Venezuela in the quarter-finals on Sunday.
"There are talks ongoing with some interested clubs," Leverkusen chairman Wolfgang Holzhauser told the newspaper.
Although reluctant to sell arguably their best performer of the previous Bundesliga campaign, Leverkusen would rather let Vidal go this summer than risk losing him to rivals Bayern Munich in a year's time.
Despite interest from other Italian sides Napoli, Inter and current Scudetto holders AC Milan, Juventus is the preferred destination for the dynamic midfielder, who is also capable of playing in defence.
Vidal had also been heavily linked with a move to Bayern where he would be reunited with former coach Jupp Heynckes, who wanted the Chilean to form a dream midfield duo with Bastian Schweinsteiger.
However, Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller insisted yesterday that the club will not sell to Bayern under any circumstances.

I don't know if Bild is source that can be trusted ...If I remember good one Bayern fan told me that it is trusted ...We negotiate about him for a month now and Marotta admitted that Vidal is target 1 for midfield and that will do everything to bring him :/ but who knows

Bild has some insider news , but for Bayern only.
But they also failed sometimes, 2 yrs ago they said Diego to Bayern is 100% perfect, and a few weeks ago they said Vidal will join Bayern for sure.
Furthermore, in the news you posted, its just said that he should join an italian club, because the Leverkusen managers won't sell him to Bayern.
