Don't understand this appointment at all, winning 3-0 and still frustrated. We ain't getting top 4. We ain't getting relegated. We ain't winning the Champs League. FA cup maybe? And there were talks of Bamford coming back to play a role Guus is a flat out mercenary now doesn't give a shit about youth, what's the *bleep* point with this short term management. Buy loads of youth loan them out, then sell out and they'll be stars else where. I would be the perfect director for Chelsea SMH. wrote:

lol, Everton hadn't been in the Tottenham half for 21 minutes and then they score a very good goal out of nowhere.

^ Well I don't know, that's his job, the finances.
A nice route one goal by Tottenham. A fine finish by Alli, too.

You can't be serious
It's a football club, the only thing that should matter is on the pitch entertainment and results.
It's clear he's another one of these assholes that couldn't care less what Villa do as long as they stay in the league and collect the tv money with no ambition to actually compete for anything.
He's a poison and so is everyone like him, getting to the point now where most of the league are just happy with 17th and making the numbers up in the gravy train of the Premier League.
Nobody has the ambition to win trophies or at least try to anymore due to all the money that's in it.

What a goal from Tottenham. Deservedly level.
Bunch of teenagers are their depth yet they plays amazing.
Pochettino

Bunch of teenagers? Ali and Dier ( and i'm not even sure Dier is a teenager tbh so that's just one) were massively hyped for years everyone in the country knew who they were and scouted them extensively.
They are doing anything unexpected with scrubs lol who had no future before Pochettino they are two of the most hyped talents in the whole country over the last 5 years.

Spurs are super organized, bit lacking attacking wise but pressing off the ball is top notch. They are always well positioned so when they lose the ball they have 4 players around the ball on a few secs. Ball not moving up very fluently though

I think i am getting more and more pulled into Tottenham hype train with each passing week. They may not win the lge but boy, its a joy watching them play right now and that too with that many homegrown kids. If they can keep these players from getting poached, who knows may be they can become really something in the future now that they have got a very capable manager. Will back them for the title this season . Poch it seems now that always knew what he was doing.

Add in Tom Carroll too that's three.. 111!!!one
Doesn't matter if they are hyped or not they are still teenagers and I don't need to tell you about how most managers prefers oldies instead of teenagers who makes blatant mistakes. There is lot of Patients and guts to put these youngsters into a high profile match.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '15-'16 discussion V8
Tom Carroll is like 23. Far from a teenager. Dier is also 21 btw.
They're similarities between this game and the North London Derby in how Spurs look far more organised and athletic than the other team and Everton have lacked the composure and intelligent decision making to deal with it.
Everton's positioning looks all over the place and they play far too direct. Ball just keeps coming back to their defence.

Carroll has been hyped as shit as well and i give Pochettino credit with him as everybody else keeps sending him out on loan but lets not act like he's a regular starter.
Ali is the only one and the whole country was trying to get him He dominated Man Yoo at MK Dons at the age of 16 lol and regularly scored near 20 a season in the lower leagues from midfield.
So Pochettino isn't doing anything special with him like you like to think he is just so you can hype your new flavor of the month.

To GoonerJay's point, this is what strikes me most about this Spurs team. THey look freakishly athletic across the board.
There is no display of individual talent, or at least not much unless they have a bit more attacking players.
Organization+Athleticism

Are they though? wouldn't particularly call Lamela, Carroll, Eriksen, Kane etc etc freakishly athletic tbh.
It's more stamina brought up by great preparation in training than athleticism with the organisation tbh. It's like a poor mans Dortmund under Klopp and i wouldn't have called them freakish athletes either.

Ok, freakishly athletic might be pushing. I do thin it's impressive to look at them all standing above 6'0ft and not easy to push around. From defense to attack, and yes, paired with stamina as you say.
Poor man's Dortmund suit them, they are just slow moving the ball

They do have some players who are not playing who we could term that though in some way.
The Korean lad and Njie both fit the mould Pochettino seems to want, not sure how they are all gonna play mind

Re: Barclay's Premier League '15-'16 discussion V8
Cameroonian Njie is indeed what they are missing on the pitch to go to the next level.
Ideally i am sure he would field something like
Njie/Lamela-Eriksen-Son/Kane with Dele Alli deeper.
But maybe those guys are not yet up to speed for what he is needing in a game like this. I dont watch spurs enough to know anyway, oh well. Professor Adit?
