Anyways, i'm sure i've mentioned this before, but i've outlived fighting games in general. There's something inherently unappealing to me, stuff like tier lists and lack of other modes. Smash is different because its more of a party game imo

Because fighting games need to be in a specific setting lol, they are trash unless you have mates round your house or if you are actually really good online ( and even then you rely on the net code not being completely ass )

I liked the latest Dragonball Xenoverse but it was more of an RPG MMO fighter than a straight beat em up with a story and side quests.

Do you remember those trance beats that played in the background in Tekken Tag Tournament? A Korean colleague of mine showed me a music video of a South Korean girl group, the other day. It reminded me so much of those techno/industrial tunes of Tekken Tag Tournament. I'll see if I can find the video.

Maybe they're not that similar, but I noticed that many of the same, industrial techno sounds/instruments were used in the Tekken soundtrack.

I wasn't big into gaming when I was a kid, but I did play the original Street Fighter game, Mortal Kombat and Tekken at least once. I'm probably not in a position to compare the respective franchises, but although they're all fighting games, they played out quite differently no? Street Fighter was flashy, Mortal Kombat was gory and put a lot of emphasis on finishers, Tekken was all about style and graphics.

Virtua Fighters sounds extremely familliar, but I'm not sure if I've ever played it. I've played one of the Soul Calibur games in recent time. It was alright. Something tells me that the series is not what it once was. One fighting game I really loved was the one that was included in the demo that came with PS1. I don't remember the name of the game, but I remember that one of the characters was an old guy that could create a large energy ball and run over his opponent with it Razz

Definitely the case, it stopped getting good after the 2nd one if memory serves.

Finished Life is Strange, just amazing.

Definitely one of the best games i have ever played without a shadow of a doubt.

Just found out its made by Remember Me devs. Remember Me flopped but the concept, soundtrack and themes were good. Glad to see they learnt from it to make a truly great game.

although until dawn is only 7-8 hrs long

i've put about 6- 7 hrs into the first 2 episodes of life is strange so far probably, i know you don't have too much time nowadays
