He played a great game yesterday, but overall no, very poor in recent seasons. But as in Milan tradition, we'll be letting him go at a cut price deal of around 10m (matri cost 12m) instead of milking them for him or requesting one of their own younger players like Rugani.

De Sciglio showed a lot of promise when he burst onto the scene.I could see him shining in the healthy environment at Juve especially considering he'd be playing under his ex-coach/mentor.

Yeah De Sciglio has been bad recently but so has basically every Milan player. Its hard to look in such a messy setup. He's had 5 coaches in 3 years.

At Juve he would be a back for Litch and at CB so he won't be too exposed. If it works out then he can be first choice at 25 in 2017/18.

Perfect Caceres replacement.

You can have any one of Sturaro/Hernanes/Pereyra

Though probably Sturaro and Pereyra have higher value atm so cash + swap deal would be alright.

I feel you, just saying how much I despise the term potential in general Laughing

Potential means nothing to me until it's realised and the large majority of the time it doesn't get fulfilled so personally I couldn't care less about it.

And it matters.
You can keep Italian players for the long term while it is difficult to the say same for foreign players with so much money lying around in other leagues.
Plus De Sciglio is not a half bad talent anyway.

It is also a matter of tradition , Juve had always an Italian structure in its history (and so , giving always most number of players to Nazionale ) and they are very proud of it.
conversely , we have an Internationalist vision ( since day of fundation .. our name depends on it ) and we don't care of it.
For me De Sciglio is overhyped exactly because he is Italian ( as it happens in every country for own national players ) anyway
