It's only logical

Whoscored should weight assists by how many dribbles a player had to make after the pass. The more dribbles the less the assist should count.

It's a matter of praise vs results. As part of the MSN circlejerk Neymar is often put on equal standing as the other two, when in reality it's MS + sometimes N/N after we're already 2 goals up.

Great win as usual, and As for the neymar issue, I'm quite surprised and disappointed at some stuffs I've been reading here lately (not that I wasn't expecting it though), anyways, I'll just point some things out. Aside the goals, neymar has comfortably being a top 2 player in europe in any other category that matters (chances created, assists, highest whoscored ratings)

1. Neymar has 24 goals and 19 assists this season (despite his poor run in front of goal)

2. Only 4 of those goals have come at the end of routs/3 and above wins (even less than suarez for that matter)

3. As a comparision, suarez has played 7 more games than neymar and his goals have also come in routs (3rd, 5th, and 6th goals vs bilbao, 5th, 7th goals vs valencia, 5th goal vs rayo, 4th goal vs eibar, 4th, 5th goals vs celta, 4th goal vs madrid, 3rd vs boca) but you don't see me coming here to rub it in..

4. Neymar has had the most assists in europe and they've been the most decisive assists in europe this season as his assists are either tie breakers, tie winners (arsenal), crazy runs (bilbao, valencia, arsenal), backheel ones (madrid, valencia)

5. Neymar form has diped yes I know, and his finishing has suffered especially since his groin problem in december and yet he still has 24 goals and might even crack 30 goals at the end of the season (which would be just short of eto'o's best ever season in barca, statistically at least)

6. Since messi came back from injury Neymar has become too generous in front of goal and I don't know why e.g agaisnt real sociedad, betis, espanyol, levante etc

7. When neymar assists it doesn't count but when some one does it, it makes them very creative. (Only on GL)

8. Neymar still has the highest whoscored ratings this season..

9. On GL, its been clear that so many people have been very uncomfortable with Neymars rise (especially during messi's injury) so can't wait to pounce on the opportunity to spew shit from their mouths..

10. while I agree that his finishing has been sub par of recent but if he where not named Neymar so many people wouldn't even give it a tought.

11. Finally let's forget that neymar was the best player in the world when it mattered the most (the messi's absence for 2 months) and virtually topped all the various charts, polls in that time..

Anyway, I await the end of this season to see what happens.. Meanwhile, I can only enjoy our season so far..

Stopped reading there. Do you seriously think that Munir had a better first half than Messi? Because that's what whoscored stated.

I only used whoscored cause it seems to be the general GL bible on here.. Anyway, I for one have never being in favour of using Whoscored as an accurate judge on ones ability. I only used it only cause its the only language we all seem to understand here, and seeing as we all seemed to fap to thesame site earlier on when it said munir was beasting.. Btw, how bout u bring on something more substantial rather than being so uncreatively predictable by quoting what suits your bias... For instance, If it said suarez was the better player in the first half today, I don't think you lot would have argued about it. Anyway, let's all agree that neymar is shit and isn't worth a dime. We'll see..
