Watching Harold & Kumar again.

What a film man. One of the best comedies I've ever seen. GOAT film

Mixed bag, i like that its metallic like the 1994 movie but wtf is that Tony Stark core? And whats up with the mouthpiece?

Film will most likely be shit, but will see it nonetheless, my childhood ffs

The mouthpieces were part of the original costume from the first season of the show so this is probably a homage to that.

Beyond that, those don't look bad at all. The female costumes are rather.....anatomically correct, no?

I know the mouthpieces were from the show but why is is it so out of depth with the visor? Feels weird

Writing a film essay on Thelma & Louise, can any of you give me a background of the social context in Murica in and around the early 90s

Seems like everything was just a bed of roses. Known as the best decade ever. Won the Cold War, only super power, financial growth.

Then Bush was elected.

Watched 10 Cloverfield Lane.

8/10. Good movie. Would recommend.

I went into it completely blind. Didn't see a trailer or have any idea what it was going to be about. The only thing I had was that I had seen the first Cloverfield movie with the shaky cam.

The Dark Tower has started filming.

Everyone seems to think it's going to be shit. I don't understand that conclusion based on the talent in the movie. I trust the director that discovered Alicia Vikander

Are we talking fans of the books or just random people looking at the project and making judgements?

People commenting all over the internet. Saying it's going to be utter shit. Must be book fans though, because the talent involved makes it look like it's going to be amazing.

There also has to have been a great pitch behind it from Arcel to get the greenlight from Stephen King to make this series into a movie. Considering I've read that it's his most treasured story.

Indeed. It's his magnum opus.

I had a feeling this was definitely book readers. Many are still very upset with the casting decisions surrounding Roland and Susannah, which is understandable from the books' perspective.

Trailer looks great, and I think it's going to be a great movie from what we see. Action looks really smooth also. No shaky cam Proud

Pretty sure we won't have a Kanye song in the film, so I'm not too bothered by it.

It was alright imo I think the whole end sequence could've been creepier or more intense. That barrel of acid scene though rofl absolute banter.

It's a movie based on a game, so it's blatantly going to be shit imo.

Doesn't matter imo hmm

It's like predicting when an unbeaten fighter is going to lose, i won't believe in it until they lose.

I don't believe game based movies are good until i see one be good hmm

dafuq with all the negativity lol? The visuals and action looked amazing. You can hardly tell anything about the story from the trailer. If its half as good as the ACII trilogy then the movie will be amazing.
