Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 26
Freshen things up by getting rid of one of their most popular and talented individuals who hasn't appeared in over a year... ok. Meanwhile there's a bunch of scrubs like Fandango and Darren Young nobody gives a shit about still appearing. Something fresh would have been to actually give him a push. Something fresh would have been to stop shoving Reigns down people's throats. But nope, Sandow committed the biggest sin you can commit in WWE, which is to organically get over.
As you may have expected, Damien Sandow's WWE release shocked many within the company last Friday when it was announced along with Hornswoggle, El Torito, Cameron, Alex Riley, King Barrett, Santino Marella and Zeb Colter.
WWE reportedly intimated to Sandow that he was not released because of anything he did, according to PWInsider, but because of timing as it was time for the company to freshen things up with the roster.

I do think they are trying to do that tbf, every Raw since Wrestlemania has been about new guys.
Just using Sandow as a reason why they are doing it is very ill advised lol.

Nope. I didn't really watch from like 2011-2014 (Yes movement). I knew about Sandow losing his cash-in, but I never watched the actual thing.
Watching it a 2nd time, what a burial that was

Sandow's first post WWE match against CM Punk's best mate.
As noted, former WWE Superstar Damien Sandow has been announced for the June 11th GFW vs. WrestlePro event in Keyport, New Jersey, along with Zeb Colter and Hornswoggle. Sandow has been announced for a match with Colt Cabana.

Nah he's still with TNA. But TNA nowadays allow their superstars to compete on other shows. Lashley does MMA alongside his wrestling stuff.
GFW basically just need a TV deal.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 26
I don't think a company would need billions to compete with the WWE. All they need to do is get every star available out there and put on a decent show. Which shouldn't be hard with the current state of the WWE. If given the choice between RAW and a new company on a Monday night, I would 99% watch the new company provided they had stars.
2010 TNA managed to afford a whole bunch of stars including Hogan, but WWE were doing better in terms of ratings. However right now they're struggling. Which is why I think it is doable.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 26
2010 TNA was a garbage product though, that was the problem and in fairness to the talent it wasn't really their fault.
TNA's booking back then made WWE's look amazing.

Punk's going to beat some MMA jobber then retire imo. However as a wrestler he has a plenty of time left on a decent schedule.
Sign:
Punk, Bryan, JR, Sandow, Barrett, Ryback, Russo, Sting as GM, Hardys, EC3, Lashley, Johnny Mundo (Morrison), The Wolves, Galloway (Drew), Young Bucks, Adam Cole etc.
Has lots of potential imo.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 26
Why is Adam Dafodil interfering in Aaron Damiendow's World title match here in the IMPACT ZONE TAZZ?!
Things continue to get worse for Adam Rose, as he has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest for domestic violence on Wednesday.
"WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence," a WWE spokesperson told TheWrap in a statement. "Per our policy, Raymond Leppan has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest."
Rose was already serving a 60-day suspension for his second violation of the WWE's wellness policy. Rose would later post a doctor's note in an effort to clear his name.
Adam Rose was arrested Wednesday morning when he grabbed his wife by the head and screamed at her, before taking a phone when she tried to call 911.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 26
CM Punk ain't beating anyone. I don't think he ever makes his UFC debut tbh. credible sources leaked that he lost 99% of his fights in training camp
can see him back in WWE someday btw, even with the bad blood, there's money there
global force wrestling
jeff jarrett's been talking about it for 2 years and it's still not off the ground, saw him making pyramid scheme videos for youtube recently and the company that made their belts put them up for auction
WWE will never have another legitimate rival, TNA had a very impressive talent line up in their prime and still barely made an.. Impact

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 26
Most of TNA's stars in 2010 were irrelevant imo. Plus WWE's average rating back then was a 3.2.
The goal in 2016 would be to try and steal WWE's current fanbase. If they managed to get relevant megastars (in the wrestling world) like Bryan and Punk, I'm sure a lot of people would switch over.
TNA's highest rating in 2010 was a 1.45, WWE nowadays are doing what? Around a 2.2. It would be possible to compete imo.
