Rojo makes Valencia looks like prime Roberto Carlos or something. What a fraud!

Rojo did well to get himself into good crossing positions. But his crosses were usually bad. Everything went through that side

Also what has LVG done to Hererra. There wasnt a single correct decision he made today. A shell of the player he was at Bilbao

Man, dont remind me of that please. We fans are weeping for Ander. The old fraud single handedly ruined one of our most promising CMs who could have even become a club legend and captain in the long run for us. He is a pale shadow of the player he was last season and when he was at Bilbao right now.
Genuinely want him to leave now so that his game wont suffer any further. If Mourinho comes theres a chance that he can get back to that sort of level as he is a Mou type player. But if this clown stays then please save your career dear Ander.

Rojo on the other hand, he was atrocious while defending and for the amount of times he got to cross the ball he was only decent with his attacking play. The guy is a decent CB but a terrible LB and LvG lol as expected only puts him in his weaker position as he does with every player.

Rojo can't defend, and produces 1 good cross out of 10. He's pointless. It's better if we play CBJ or switch Darmian there  but it looks as if LVG has given up on CBJ . Terrible man manager that fraud is.

Herrera has had his confidence eroded from him by the confidence drainer aka LVG. It would make any footballer lose confidence if they can't get a place in the starting 11 ahead of 2 past it players (one is a CF) and Fellaini( who's been good the past few weeks tbf to him).
Herrera needs to be starting games, he's no good coming in and making 20 min cameos. He was very poor today but I wasn't surprised.

edit: The amount of times Morgan beat Rojo to the ball and LVG still had him marking Morgan in the 2nd half. Dreadful.

For one.... playing Fellaini in the middle and Martial wide left is dumb. All you have to worry about with Fellaini are crosses. So you can cheat wide and have the midfielders drop into the box to help in the air when the ball gets into a crossing position. That makes it very simple for a defense.

BUT, LVG has set up the midfielders and CBs to shade back so the mids are in a defensive cover position as opposed to diving in to help the attack. That leaves the AM all by himself basically to handle the attacking center of the pitch. So you have the AM and Fellaini... again, the center of the pitch is easy.

Finally, Lindgard, Rashford and Martial are just kids. As much talent as they have, they're not clever enough yet to break 3 v 6-7 matchups consistently. You have to help them out more. Make their jobs easier.

In fairness to Rojo, it's not like anyone thought he was good anyway

I dont even remember Leicester attacking this game bar a couple of counters here and there. Maybe Rojo is a bad LB but this game isnt one where that was proved.

Lingard is bang average. As average as they come. Weak, can't shoot, can't cross, has no pace apart from little bursts of speed. I cringed watching him get outmuscled by Simpson when he was through on goal.

Shouldn't be anywhere near our starting 11, yet he still gets picked. I just don't understand.

From open play and in this match in particular he wasnt at fault for his defending that much tbf. But it is his defending in set pieces that was terrible today. For a player who is a CB by trade his heading is unbelievably poor. The goal came cos he missed Morgan and it happened over and over again, him missing the players he is marking.

Southampton 2-0 up, the second being a high quality counter attack.

The entire City team look like they don't even want to be there especially Bony and Nassri. Southampton just want it a bit more than City.Shane long is very annoying, this guy never gives defenders a rest. The guy runs all day, constantly moving. poor man Jamie Vardy. City might come into this a bit more in the second half if Pellegrini wakes them up a bit.

Just goes to show how toothless we are at the moment.

City have got a silly number of useless players for a top club.
