Morata agent meets with Real Madrid officials at the Bernabeu
Juanma López was seen at the Real Madrid stadium today meeting with officials from the club to discuss the players future amid various offers from the Premier League.

Alvaro Morata's agent, Juanma Lopez, is meeting at the offices of the Santiago Bernabéu from 11:30 this morning. The representative of the international striker is meeting with the board to get an understanding of the role the player can expect if he stays with Los Blancos next season amid rumours that there have approaches from top Premier League clubs.

Lopez is likely to take advantage of the situation and use it as an opportunity to request a review of Morata's contract. The striker is looking to exceed the 4 million euros that he was on at Juventus especially in light of a reported 9 million euros per year from Arsenal.

Madrid are believed not to be in the mood to disrupt the current salary scale of the squad and for the moment will aim not to exceed the figure set at Juventus last year.

CB/DM, was our U21 captain for quite a while and actually played some games as a 10. A decent defender with okay technique, played better in midfield than at the back. Managed a decent amount of games at Hull last season. One of those who will never be good enough for us but is good enough to have a decent career lower down the table.

He's also from Chelmsford and came through Southend's youth academy, so Essex lad through and through.

Best way to describe him is that he is pretty much another James Perch. Who was good enough for Newcastle around the times of coming up and stabilising but maybe not good enough for any higher. But Hayden is young so might develop better under Rafa

Arsenal have turned down 'a number' of enquiries for Olivier Giroud although they indicated a willingness to listen to offers at the end of last season.

Arsenal are the only Premier League club after Alexandre Lacazette now while Wenger maintains interest in Morata but wants Real Madrid to come down on their £65m valuation.

I wish we'd forget about strikers for a while and focus on a centre back, right back and winger. You know, strengthen the rest of the squad while the search for a striker continues.

Giroud's stock has gone up tbh after the euros. Been the best striker at the Euros while the likes of Ibra, Kane, Morata etc all played too.


Wouldn't mind if Asano's visa comes through so both can play if we can't find someone else. If not then another wide forward wouldn't hurt who can score goals.

but like Jay said, CB is more of a priority.
