Well apparently David Ornstein on a BBC livestream was saying that there hadn't been any talks between Arsenal and Leicester about Mahrez. No bid for Mustafi either, though there is interest.

Could just be the club telling him such to hush things up. Or there could really be nothing going on.

SkyBet have suspended betting on Mahrez to Arsenal but, again, that doesn't mean much. It just means they've received an unusually high amount of bets on it, likely because people have been tipped off about something.

I'm genuinely fearing a crap start to the season now. I mean, look at how well prepared we are for the Liverpool game:

- Only one fit "experienced" centre back in Gabriel who has yet to play any friendlies
- One 21 year old centre back who's really struggled in pre-season
- A 19 year old new signing who hasn't played a single PL game
- We have the right sided Andre Santos
- Wilshere injured again
- Cazorla might not be fit to play
- Our right winger will be either Walcott, who shouldn't be here, and Ox, who has a lot to prove
- Only one striker, who's a kid
