It'll probably be Chambers with Koscielny who's had about two weeks training.

I can't lie, there is definitely an appeal to seeing a team send long balls down to the big target man who holds up the ball.

Wow. Unreal shitty refereeing to help city. They were lucky last week. Seems they are lucky again. Cant wait this fraudiola pos to get found out. Not seeing anything worth impressive from his side so far.

That was good refereeing. Are they lucky that the ref saw the penalty? Yes, as it doesn't happen often in the PL but it was not shitty refereeing.

They haven't been lucky ffs
Last week Sunderland would have been lucky to get a draw, this whole lets act like an underdog was unlucky because they defended well BS has to stop.
Also it was a penalty and they deserve the lead today.

Stoke had a clearer penalty not called

City have looked 10x better than their opposition, but apparently they are lucky to be winning against these fodder.

Well i agree, still though they'd still be winning. So it still negates the arguement entirely.
At the end of the day they deserved to win a lot more last week than Sunderland deserved anything and they deserve to be winning this week.
It's all nonsense.

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion
Err what about the Stoke stonewall penalty which he turned down?
The penalty city got was debatable. There needs to be an even ground in decisions such as that. You see half the time such decisions not being given and players getting away with shirt pulls. I am not saying he did the wrong thing by giving that, just that it needs to be given now everytime. Stoke fans and players are right to feel disappointed and victimized.
Either way it was atrocious refereeing on the whole even if it wasnt in that particular instant.

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion
Yeah but big clubs get the calls all the time lol ( as a Man Yoo fan you should be well aware of that), it was still the right call though.
Also i agree Stoke should have had a penalty btw, but that doesn't mean they have been lucky. Not in the slightest.

Dean's been fine. Don't see what he's done that's been so bad except the foul on Allen that should have been a pen.

Also according to NBC's coverage referees's have been instructed to limit the amount of pulling and shoving in the box this season.
So you SHOULD see more calls like this one.

We'll see but I doubt this will happen more often than it usually does.

Thats a stupid counter argument. We never know. Had Stoke won that penalty and scored they would have been right back in it with an entire half to go. City defense is not at all looking bright and they could snatched a point if things had gone their way there.
Last week, yea it was Moyes being moyes. However there wasnt a goal coming until he made that substitution. So they were lucky there as well, however differently you want to spin it.

Oh look, Stoke get a penalty identical to City's. Maybe they are being consistent.
