That Junkrat we had on our team on Hollywood just stood inside that little room where the enemy Bastion was, for like 70% of the match. If he had helped prevent them from getting through the middle, my turret wouldn't have gotten barraged with enemies so damn fast. 1-2 randoms makes a huge difference, when they're picking classes they can't play as/that don't fit the map or game mode, or just don't do anything productive besides getting kills away from the objective. Also, what's with so many of the randoms on our team picking Genji, Hanzo or Widowmaker?

Meh I expected us to get stomped but it was more 50/50

Obviously we need some major tactics, especially for payload. No need to get all worked up. We'll improve alot, just like we did in quick play with 4-6 man team.

No need to mention randoms anymore. They're either gonna be decent, good or bad. Our moaning won't change anything.

Another thing is don't use chars you're shit at even as last resort. Also if you're the best on a certain char you should play him (Thimmy on Junkrat for example)

Also Firenze it wasn't all that bad tbh, we had some awful games but i bet if you looked at the record we've still won more than we lost.

Which is in line with the quick match stuff tbh Laughing

gonna trophy hunt in competitive later for an hr or two so don't be surprised if when we all get together  tomorrow I'm rank 40 or something Proud

idk, felt like after the football we only won 2-3 and when we lost we got absolutely steamrolled so I'm just feeling bitter

think it's mostly because I'm ranked 51 with Moal and behind Thimmy and Versacci when I'm clearly the best player to ever grace the game in my opinion

Think we won every KotH bar 1. We usually dominate that one but struggle hard on payloads.

Need to combine ults everytime, have 2 flankers etc.

But anyway I enjoyed the session. It was damn intense & frustrating at times.

I only really got pissed off on that attack on Dorado because it felt like nobody was doing any damage, the other losses didn't piss me off so much. Even the last one i knew i played like crap and owned it.

I thought I did pretty good on Dorado, but our team seemed really scattered. Also, those two randoms we had on our team in that game were the worst we've had today.

You would :coffee:

But seriously it just felt like where were a boxer with no punching power and the opposition could walk through our attacks.

Really annoyed me, that aside i never even really got frustrated outside of the last one because i played really bad.

No wonder they walked through our attacks, when the almighty boxer was nowhere to be seen hmm

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I've noticed that a relatively high amount of players in this game don't care that much about the objective. It seems like they think they're playing any other FPS game, where the goal is simply to get as many kills as possible, or to use the coolest looking characters. As a result, you have Hanzos and Genjis running away from the objective, in order to flank or single out enemy players.

Just won 5 in a row in competitive with randoms. Undefeated in my session tonight. hmm 2 of them were on our bogey map Volskaya too. Mercy every map except Lucio on KOTH. It's a must.

Pharah/Mercy/Reinhardt 100% on every map except Lucio on king of the hill

other spots can be adjusted to the situation, I like Winston for KOTH, Torbjorn on some maps until nerf when on defense, Roadhog good on a lot of narrow maps and KOTH too

Reaper/Soldier and occasionally junkrat when needed for extra DMG

Mei on KOTH maps is alright too

basically just every map if the randoms aren't one of Pharah/Mercy/Reinhardt we have to be choosing them, I know we do anyway most of the time, if randoms chip in with those picks then we can go w/e we want within reason

Also it's quite disgusting how you lose so much rank if you lose but if you win you don't go up tons, although I had one match where I went up like 50% of a rank

Well obviously it's only been out a day, plus the balancing of it still needs a lot work.

I mainly enjoyed it so far though, probably because I only played in a party of 4 lol.
