Meh didn't play long enough to get pissed.
Got put into back to back lobby with a team so much better than us and then the bogey map which we usually struggle on.
Don't even care really.

Dunno why you been hating on me for using her anyway lol.
We don't lose that often when I use her, my stats with her are very good just because every random that uses her doesn't mean she sucks lol.
You just gotta know how to use her and realize she's basically a support tank and not meant to be the primary damage dealer.
She's really good at pushing objectives behind a flanker and another tank but I stopped using her because y'all was hating

ELO Hell isn't what he describes it is. ELO hell is when you're good enough to be better than everyone on your team but you're not that much better to carry the game. People naturally deflect and blame others. His description of ELO hell is the childish interpretation; like I've said before: Here we go with ELO drama again

Re: Overwatch Part 2
What kind of kills me is that blizzard even had the competitive in PTR and it didn't seem to make a difference as far as shipping out such a shitty product.
Nor did they have it in the game to start
Blizzard messed this one up tbh. They'll fix it tho, they always do

Carry your team? That's a CoD term, as far as I know. Never seen anyone on console even close to being able to carry his team. That's some ninja, PC crap. I don't know how this ELO system works, but I heard that Blizzard said they would reward players who perform well individually. How the f does that work? When my team loses, I seem to lose the same amount of XP, regardless of how I perform. If there's any difference in XP reward/deduction, it's miniscule. My rank dropped down to 50 after one night of playing comp with randoms, and I've been in a slump ever since. Can't even reach my placement ranking. Many high-ranked players who don't play with full teams, seem to be really underwhelming, and that negatively affects the team you draw against. Seems like a super flawed system, to me.

Re: Overwatch Part 2
finally broke my losing streak
only 4 of their team left at the end of round 2 which means you get basically 0 rank
this game is BANTER

Re: Overwatch Part 2
Yep the system is *bleep* up, i go down pretty much the same everytime i lose and it's the same when i win. Individual performance doesn't really seem to effect it that much in my experience.
When i win i seem to go up similarly whether i play bad or not, same when i lose.
Not that i really care anyway, couldn't care less about a arbitrary number like i don't care about my stats but there's a lot of room for improvement that is quite clear.

No it's not lol. The usage of carrying a team is older than videogames and it's been used in team based games since before CoD4. Console or PC it doesn't matter what control scheme is used if the player is simply better.
You can either take the word of someone who's been playing team based soloqueue games with an ELO based ranking system for over a decade (And has been top %) or you can form your own thoughts which I've seen hundreds of thousands of times and repeated by millions before from people who can't accept their own skill level.
ELO with a large sample size is the best system we've got. If you can come up with a better system by all means do; it's not like we haven't been trying for the past 15 years. As soon as you start rewarding ranking for anything other than Win/Loss you jeopardize the integrity of the system; especially once it gets out what is rewarded.
