Great guy, no doubt. Just wish he was better. He has all the mental attributes, the technique is lacking.

We turned down 70 million for Morata because it is better than paying 40 million for a 30 year old back up striker. The striker market is so dire lol, why else did Chelsea offer 70 million for him? Laughing

I definitely remember reading that they had made a couple offers for him

don't remember the sources and as always took it with a grain of salt

would be weird though since they spent 40m on battyshite

but yeah the market for strikers is dire and I guess you only spent 30m on Morata so it was probably good business, can always sell him to some PL scrub team for 20m if he is crap in the next 2 seasons anyway
