Conte's most prized position is the central midfielder, of course he doesn't want to let him go. But he also doesn't want to let Cuadrado or Diego Costa leave... seems like he just wants to see what he can do with the squad of players he has.

In any case, Matic would be fantastic but all of these signings are just a stop gap due to Marchisio's injury and Khedira's injury proneness.

at least at Liverpool he had some good games. But at city he makes Aaron Lennon look world class.

Sterling is good lol, I'm going to die on this island but I believe it.

He just lacks confidence and self believe in himself, which isn't surprising all things considered but he doesn't lack ability he just doesn't believe in himself.

Because of the immense waste of talent... Simple as. The man had/has the talent to be top class, but has absolutely wasted it through a combination of immaturity, apathy, and a small amount of mis-management. However, the presence of said talent (and the continued promise to knuckle down and truly work after each successive transfer) mean that teams still have hope of unlocking him.

This is not true. Roberto and every Barca higher up has made it very clear we are only chasing young players we can develop, hence someone like Vietto, Gabriel, Calleri or Luan.
The Gignic, Gomez, RVP, and even Gamerio rumors have been just rumors. Roberto has has shot all those names down very quickly because they don't fit the age criteria (even though Lucho wanted both Nolito and Gamerio, the board didn't approve the deals for that reason)

I would be forever grateful if you and other clubs could keep United in Europa and hopefully Pep's City as a bonus too.
