So basically you are paying part of the transfer fees directly to players to entice them to come to your team while your competition is doing the opposite and getting the players to pay part of the transfer fees themselves to come play for them...

I would lose faith in Marotta being a football god if we sign Sissoko

Wouldn't mind him signing him for €10M with Sissoko paying all the fees by himself.

I'd chip in 20 € myself to see Juve going from Pogba to Sissoko

When is struggling at Newcastle the indication of anything. It's like struggling at OM.... he's been nothing short of stellar almost every time he's played for NT.

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
When has national team performances been indicative of anything either lol. Plenty of scrubs look decent for their national team.
All I know is this, his technique is crap and so is his decision making. Combine the two and you get a very, very inconsistent player despite his athleticism.
Team he plays has *bleep* all to do with those things. It's funny though nobody gave a shit about him for 3 years due to his performances, now he gives a decent performance at a shit tournament people are coming out of the woodwork making excuses for him.

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
So imagine, if last summer we would have told our Juventus supporting friends here:
"You'll sell Pogba but don't worry, instead you'll get Higuain and 15m on top! You can use that money, plus another 20m, to buy Sissoko from Newcastle"

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
148 mil does not equal 140 mil... and the Benatia deal involves a buy clause at the end of the 1 year loan on top of the 3 mil loan fee. The buy clause is 17 mil. So it's really 165 mil. AND on top of that, Juve owes some kind of transfer tax that is being reported everywhere (Man U pays Raiola, but Juve pays the tax). Not sure what that is, but it brings the net to Juve on the alleged Pogba deal at 100 mil apparently. So call it 130 mil compared to 165 mil.

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Juve also owe Pjanic part of the transfer fee he had to chip in some funds too
I don't remember how much it was but we shouldn't forget that
It's not like Juve are broke, they can afford a 40+m deficit

Why are you so bothered about the minor details?
The net spend is effectively very little.

No... But S made a post that the Pogba + Morata fees = the fees of all those when in fact there is 25+ mil difference.

Damn, I thought we were ahead until the GL calculators came out
If were really splitting hairs then you can only count 3M from Benatia and 45M from Higuain as the rest will be paid next summer from our Champions League winnings

Fair enough, but when its all said and done there are still a couple of sales Juventus is expected to make. I do not expect Zaza to be a Juventus player come September. Pereyra and Hernanes could both easily be on the way out too (at least one of them) and one midfielder should join.
In any case, this is one of the best transfer windows we have had in the past 15 years
1) 2001
2) 2016
3) 2011

Yep. One Champions league matchday can cover that Pjanic fee.
What about you guys ? How are your Champions league preparations going ?
Oops.. Sorry.. my bad..

If you want total accuracy we will be getting $20 million from Bayern next summer from their buy clause on the loan of Coman, so that will cover the buy clause of Benatia...
