Very good performance. Our midfield was actually fine. Its just that this 2 CF pairing is not pretty. Higuain did a great job falling back and linking up play. The defense was great. and Kean got his debut!

We need to put the game into the perspective that we were facing Pescara. Anything else than a win would have been a failure.

No matter what, it was still a solid performance for everyone (or at least, no one was poor tonight).

Glad to see Hernanes being finally more than a placeholder: a long range goal, a backflip celebration, and on top of that, no yellow card !! It's good to see Mandzukic scoring as well, his stats are disappointing this season but he keeps working.

We faced Pescara but we had 6 players missing from our starting 11. Getting a 3-0 win with 6 changes and after an int break is great.

I can't become so cynical as to not enjoy a 3-0 win.

I hope Max makes the right decisions this time (against Sevilla). Last time we faced them, we did not seem well prepared.

Sevilla will probably put a lot of pressure on the midfield, and try to lock the space between the CB and Higuain so players like Lemina and Asamoah are not useful in this case. They are not play creators and this is how we got beaten every time this season.

Marchisio, Pjanic and Sturaro should be the starting trio for the midfield in my humble opinion

Allegri is a coach who learns from his mistakes (2 half today example). Plus this time they can pressure all they want Marchisio is back, Pjanic is RCM preforming again, Khedira will probably play on the left side(? weird I know). We just miss Dybala. Khedira must be the most intelligent player that ever played for us.

Great game 6 reserves playing, new make shift midfield and defense and we scored 3.

Khedira will play for sure instead of Sturaro. If I was Allegri, I would opt for a 451 to have Higuain upfront alone and we would pump the ball to him. But, this will create a shortage in fullbacks on the bench. If we had Lichtsteiner, that would be possible.

So, 4312 would great if we play with Cuadrado in SS and Pjanic in AM. Pjanic did well at AM the other game. Marchisio-Khedira-Hernanes/Lemina/Sturaro in the middle and we would be good, as long as It is not Mandzukic and Higuain upfront, because it is fruitless. Today's Mandzu goal was a bit lucky IMO. Or maybe we can play with a christmas tree formation with Pjanic as a LAM and Cuadrado on the right as a winger. I think that would be the best solution. The only weekness in these kind of formations is the midfield, the players in italics.

Khedira is playing 100%. He got subbed off the moment the game was wrapped up to rest him. Pjanic and Marchisio rested as well. Thats the midfield. Alves-Khedira-Marchisio-Pjanic-Sandro.

Against Sevilla it might be cool to try putting an extra midfielder in there to act as Dybala. Something of a 3-5-1-1. I'd try Hernanes in such a role. It will probably be Mandzukic-Higuain though as its the safer choice.

We never sorted our midfield out. Our biggest strength became an embarrassing weakness and whilst i'd like to say there's nothing we can do about injuries the way we went from Conte and his staff barely suffering injuries to being unable to field the same XI players 3 times in a row is not a coincidence.

We have to wake up. Allegri has to wake up and change some stuff. Genoa have been a tough team against us at home recently, but not that strong to destroy us with 3 goals to nil in one half.

We deserve this loss. Sometimes a game like this can do us good. On the bright side, Pjanic, apart from his goal, was almost everywhere, trying to create something. Hopefully we wil lbe much better when Dybala is back.

The injuries we are having are devastating.

Our next matches are really hard. First, against Atalanta who are on fire, followed by Zagreb who must not underestimate. Then Derby della Mole. Yes, Torino willl definiitely give us a hard time. Then against Roma before we face Milan in Qatar...

Oh boy how much we needed this slap... Things will get better thou

Was working yesterday so i could not watch the game... but judging by the result, this is a disgrace. How was Khedira last night ? How was Pjanic ? These are the guys we brought in Turin to replace Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba... i'm starting to think they might not be at the same level after all. We have no chemistry and a shitty bench, Allegri is sleeping. Hope this 3-1 defeat against Genoa was the ice bucket in the face he needed to wake up. Allegri must set up a strategy that fits our players, right now we have no punch at all.

Btw, at this point i still believe we can challenge for the CL against any other team in Europe. We have a world-class starting XI: first or second best defense in the world, excellent attackers and full-backs (not including Alves). Our midfield is the only concern, and i trust Marotta, Allegri & other autorities to find a solution. Juve never do its big transfers in January, but this year it is imperative that we do so. 1 or 2 players is needed.

We never found someone to replace Pogba and that was a big issue. Waiting until the end caused us a problem as you saw. Witsel being the final choice is also proof about how indecisive we were. How will the midfield fit? It is like dofferent pieces of a puzzle brought together. Our midfield turned from the strongest point to the weakest point.

the ptoblems juventus have i would say its , some players are getting old and the physical presence has been reduced a little is not like conte days anymore when we used to win the ball back too easy

but even that , when you have a technically good team its not too much of concern as you expect to be better on ball possession and other advantadges because of experience and when you think about players we have like higuain, dybala, pjanic, cuadrado, marchisio, sandro, khedira

this is a really high talented team, one you expect to score 3 goals every game,

the only problem juventus have i would say , its a really bad luck with injuries,

first it was khedira and marchisio injuries
than we had chiellini, dybala, higuain, Pjaca
now dani alves?

the team i believe is really good but with so many injuries its impossible to know its full potential, always someone injured
