Obviously I meant from a football perspective. I don't make a single euro from the paychecks he gets so I don't care how much he will get.

Will take Willian at United tbh. Our wide options barring Mkhitaryan are pretty dire atm. So, hoping if he's on his way out, we are in the mix.

I wonder how serious the chinese are with football, they are signing a lot of popular players in their prime, unlike Dubai/MLS that only gets semi retired one (except Giovinco).
Is it just some billionaire wanting to show off or there's a structured plan to improve the level and the popularity of the footballing scene there? I remember reading somewhere that these kind of moves were endorsed by the Chinese government.

So am I the only one that thinks Alexis will force a move to Chelsea? Can't see Chelsea not buying an established player with the Oscar sale.

I think we'll stay like we are, I doubt we'll make a huge move. We had a -100M net on the summer transfer window, and since the 3-4-2-1 Oscar hasn't been a starter and Conte prefered subbing in Pedro/Willian, Cesc, Batshuay, Chalobah before him. We'll basically get 50M for a benchwarmer.

Only 6 points ahead and already lost to Liverpool in their home this season.

The difference is Liverpool has been savaged by injuries while Chelsea haven't had to deal with them at all.

I wonder how Chelsea would do if they missed hazard and Costa. That's right we're missing even more important players than that in Coutinho and Matip.
