It's never really been the personnel with English teams they have usually had great players and fantastic attacks since the mid 2000's it's just their style of play and tactics in europe don't cut it. Just because they have great defenders doesn't mean they will defend well.

BS they just weren't good in the last years. The tactics worked alright between 2005~2010 when they had the best teams and Real, Barcelona and Bayern weren't the powerhouses they are right now. Chelsea and City are going to be a force in Europe for sure in the next years. Maybe Liverpool and United too.

No way it's 70M. That's more than what Oezil and di Maria were sold and almost the amount he was bought for, and they were key players before getting sold. James has been benched/playing like shit for 2 years straight according to this thread.

One possible explanation could be Bailly going to AFCON and Jones being a sicknote and Rojo a psycho. So that could be the reason why Mou is after yet another cb. And it seems he doesnt rate Smalling and he might probably leave the next summer which is strange cosnidering he is a decent defender.

Chelsea: Conte ponders €50m bid to sign former Juventus midfielder

We made the painful decision of ousting a Chelsea legend who was the club's greatest GK ever and was still in his prime with at least 6/7 years ahead of him just to make room for Thibo. Gtfo pls. Your wishing well letters are as useful as the open prisons in Finland. You'll have a easier time signing Messi than him.

Lol the only way this is ever happening is if Courtois puts in a transfer request. And even at that, Marina Granovskaia will squeeze Madrid for at least 70m.
