La Liga Discussion 2016/17

Barca have already played all LaLiga top teams apart from Villarreal, while we are yet to play Atleti, Valencia and Sevilla. Barca got this league on lockdown

No way I see Sevilla being this cute against us. They'd smash the ball as soon as they got an opening instead of backheeling 1v1s or doing flicks and tricks. Even if they knew they'd get relegated they still turn it up a notch against us.

Also Barca have an unselfish forward line whereas we have a player who moans everytime someone dares take a shot instead of pass to him and another who has no clue how to handle high tempo games. And a guy who is trying to carry the forward line all by himself.

Atleti will smash us next weekend and Barca will regain top spot in LaLiga while our internal drama will continue

Eh, it's expected. Recent games at home against Barca have followed a pattern of playing very well but being punished by their superior quality up front. And Sevilla's level was always going to drop as the game went on anyway. That equaliser before half-time was killer in that regard. Maybe with a lead they could have found the extra energy to hold on.

Despite this they've had a great start to the season and have a solid platform to build from for a top four spot.

Barcelona's front three is incredible, Messi, Messi, Messi (Triple M). He was appearing as a #4, #6, #10, #7 and #9. He is the modern day Cruijff. Literally carrying the teams attack. The MF weren't getting the ball to the forwards and linking up properly in the 1st half so he dropped deeper and initiated almost every dangerous Barcelona attack.

Example CR doesnt get all the passes despite being as popular as messi. because modric or kroos will do better than him in midfield or in build up

In all fairness to Denis, he had an excellent 2nd half against Sevilla. Who knows, maybe there is more talent than what he usually shows.
