Lapadula accidentaly kicked him in head with the studs when jumping over him to avoid him as Hart rushed in.

Belotti is destroying everyone so far. Juve, Napoli, Roma, Milan, Lazio, Inter. Scored against all the top teams.

One thing is sure though no player will be rested against Milan in the QF. About time we knock you out, the whole team will be dying to beat Milan.

Belotti is trapped by that 100M buy-out clause though. Don't see any team paying this unless he keeps this form for many years or even improves it.

I have to say, this Milan pisses me off now.

Annoyingly hard to beat for the squad they have. So many late goals, big saves, clutch moments, but the most annoying thing is how they never look like they will score but they hold every team in the middle and kinda just wear you down and then come out with a win late. I guess thats a bit how Juve were with Conte in the first season, but its *bleep* annoying to play against.

Hands down Montella is my coach of the year so far. Coaching is the strong point of the league with excellent managers all around the table, but Montella takes it so far.

Ikr, he's the polar opposite of what he was at Samp. He took charge when they were like 12th and 10 points from relegation and he completely disregarded the results, he played a formation unsuited to the players, he tried to implement a playstyle that was suicidal with the players at his disposal, he put 0 attention to the defensive aspect of the game and Samp escaped relegation by the skin of its teeth on the last matchday. He was a colossal failure even if he didn't get relegated.

He seems to have learned from that and he's taking a more humble and down to earth approach with a results oriented philosophy and more pragmatic approach. However, a wolf loses its fur but not his vices (I know this is a literal translation and thevactual saying in english is "a leopard cannot change his spots", but it actually loses part of its meaning that way) and I expect him to play a more audacious and dominant playstyle next season when he has 1 full year of knowledge of the players and can bring new ones (last summer's transfer window for Milan was pure garbage)

Yea. Torino took the Udinese/Genoa/Samp feeder club route since its promotion to Serie A in 2012. That clause and the caliber of the players signed this summer leads to believe they intend to elevate themselves from that and become the new addition to the top flight in Serie A alongside Sassuolo (well, before this season). They need more than Belotti staying and some Roma rejects to consistently get EL and challenge for the CL though.

Rai No

no wonder Italian football is on its knees

I thought it happened everywhere
It is typical in Italy except on pay tv of course
Mediaset  (The Berlusconi broadcasting company ) was the first to do it in 90s justifying it with the fact that it is a private network so need of money to fiance itself.  While Rai is a "public service' , you have to pay a Italian television tax every year because of Rai
Mediaset had CL rights for over a decade so you watched CL matches broken often from spots
Recently Rai is going to look like Mediaset even if it has public financing

When we played agaisnt them in the league, I really felt that we could have easily won them. If not the goal that was disallowed, we would have won. They had many open spaces in the midfield, and the goal they scored was more skill from an individual than team play. Also, don't forget that they only won against us in penalties when we played in the supercoppa.

Call Serbia what you want, but in my 16 years I have never seen a commercial during a game.

The city I live has around 200k people and about 15k are serbians. Every serbian I know is incredibly funny, extremely generous and unselfish, stubborn as *bleep*, and drinks double the amount that would put me in an alcoholic coma.

I'm gonna call Serbia a land of funny, generous, stubborn and heavy drinkers people tbh.

Stupid idea. Many players accept lower wages to play in leagues that allow them to spend the Christmas holidays with their families. This would reduce Serie A's attractiveness vis-a-vis La Liga and especially the Bundesliga which has a really long break.

@farfarce told us Kondogbia would be a big flop at DM when in fact the last few games are probably the only games Kondogbia has performed for them and at DM nonetheless.
