Re: All Star Referee Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 9
at the very least we will drop points, thinking a draw tbh
that said I keep falling into the habit of thinking of the West Ham from last season, they have been shocking this season, disappointing if we do drop points but we've been on a damn good run so it's gotta happen sooner or later

you know a forward is having a shocking season when you feel the need to highlight his defensive stats
lad has been gash
You have to wonder why he got such good stats in Germany, no wonder Fraudiola was able to play 3-4-Gryffindor and win every week.

As long as Fellaini is far away off the first team and referee aint planning to team up with WH, we would be fine i guess. Carrick should be back for this. If not, our chances of winning will get slashed by 50%.

This is way too tempting to not post (despite my stand to not blame it on refs).

Honestly tho, I think 14 is way too lenient a number. There were a lot more in truth.
For example Cnuttenburg in that match against Burnley had way more than just 2 errors. There were at least 4 or 5 in that game. He came across that day as if clearly having an agenda to let United not win the game.
Hope someone made a YT compilation of all these mistakes so that we could make you nonbelievers believe that we fans aint bsing.

Manchester United have suffered 14 terrible referee decisions this season

So what about the bad decisions that go in United's favour? Like Rojo not being sent off for his two footed tackles, in two seperate games? Or Mkhitaryan's offside goal?
For all I know they could be on the wrong end of refereeing decisions more than anyone else this season, but let's not forget that a) everyone benefits as much as they suffer from poor refereeing and b) the standard of refereeing is genuinely poor; there is no agenda so much as just standardised incompetence.

I'm glad I skipped this match. Sounds horrific. Not sure what to even watch of the 3PM games, don't want to see Pool or City thrash their opponents, although I expect Moyes to be sacked when he loses 4-1 so there's that

League champions vs Middlesborough is absolutely the most boring football match I've watched all season.
People really believe China is a step down from this?

It's a relegation six-pointer being played less than 48 hours after the last round of games.
Not sure what anyone was expecting.

The home side to have more than 1 shot on target against a terrible road side.

1:1 Clear penalty
Sturridge is such an absolute elite finisher. Incredible quality. Shame his overall game doesn't seem to gel with Klopp's approach.

Klavan is a better defender than any of Man utd's CBs tbh.
Except an in form Smaldini of course, but he's been ostraziced by José and will be shipped off soon. Jibers

Only the 2nd rojo challenge, we got off lightly by winning that game. Even in that game after that decision, Creg Pawson made at least 2 calls against united.
Micky offside goal wouldnt have affected the game as we have won the game already by then.
Sure we got a couple of decisions in our favour as well. But thats the normal incompetence of PL refs, the one you are talking about.
The number of game changing calls going against United this season is way more than that.
I think more than a conspiracy against United, its a conspiracy against Jose. A part of me agrees the man through his actions over the years might have brought it upon himself. Its just that we are suffering along with that, thats all.

Is a Man Yoo fan really complaining about refereeing ?
GTFO, no big team has a right to complain about refereeing. You lot get away with murder constantly.
People who support smaller clubs would laugh at you.

tbf anyone that says we haven't been the unluckiest side in the last few months since the PL began is talking nonsense. Never seen anything like it. Performance wise we should be right there with Chelsea tbh. Instead we're 6th, although only a couple of points from third
You should be cheering for us instead of hating, if we manage to pull it back and finish second, it's a victory for football IMO.
