Honestly i'd rather teams take risks on young and promising managers who want to learn than consistently gives jobs to the same PFM failures.

Merson's rant was even worse than what Mole posted. He threw in shit about foreign coaches not knowing about the Premier League and what it takes to win, even though no English manager has even won the league and the top six are all managed by foreigners The last English manager to win a trophy was Harry Redknapp nine years ago ffs.
Phil Thomson joined in as well. Said Marco Silva wouldn't be able "dig in" in the Premier League.
It's a really awful mix of ignorance and entitlement that's given air time every week.
Unreal. Literally reads like a Unique rant after a Liverpool loss.

Southampton 1 - 0 Liverpool. Redmond.
This might actually be a competitive tie now.

Soton dominating. Could have been out of sight by now with a bit of luck. Instead they are only 1 up. Pool will come back in the second half tho.

Southampton should be out of sight. Redmond has been wasteful.
They need more than a goal lead if they're get through the second leg unscathed.

Disgusting performance by Liverpool. The third in a row now.
Will get beaten comprehensively by United on the weekend.

Liverpool
Wasn't Origi supposed to deliver us from darkness? nvm just realized that he doesn't even get gametime in the league cup nowadays.

Will accept the positives and move on. We need some speed so that we can work our magic in tight spaces that's about it.
Not worried about Soton, We'll probably score like 3-4 against them at Anfield.
The United game is going to be really boring and probably a draw because we are slow now and they rather bypass the midfield by hoofing and crossing.
Ibrahimovic will decide that game imo.

Actually quite impressed by those numbers. He's not #1 but not everybody can be Eriksen. Oh Eriksen is number 1 you say? Hmmm
Had a hard start but Mata has turned out to be a good player for United. I've always liked him.

I take full credit for mentioning Eriksen being at least as good as Ozil/Penzard tbh, Moal and others saying he doesn't impact games the same way
the stats speak for themselves ffs
what a player, can't wait to sign him
also, Ibra a slight doubt for the weekend game
pray 4 me

Never understood why Hazard keeps getting included in every Midfielder stat posted by Sky and other PL media. Should I be impressed that he is out performing Mata and Ozil?

Valencia kicking ass on that right wing and allowing mata to cut in is a big reason for it
It helps when you have such a good fullback behind you.

Payet put in a transfer request. Expected. He'll probably leave England, Don't see him starting for the top 5 teams.

So, potentially big news today that Diego Costa have had a huge falling out with one of the Chelsea's fitness coaches over an injury and now he's been dropped for the Leciester game tomorrow.
Some are saying he's had his head turned by a huge offer from China that'd make him the highest paid player in the world.

Well way better than next month. Not that I expect them to find someone as good as Costa but at least they have some time to bring someone in.

the funny thing is Costa seems exactly the type of player to move to China in his prime while already earning unreal money, I have a hard to picturing any elite player in his position doing that, but not him
