porto guarantees danilo will be playing for them. He will come in jan and porto payed 13 mil for him. I hope they are satisfied after stealing yet another benfica target.

it is annoying those b******** i think we lost becuase we wanted him to come now, whilst porto said it is ok for him to come in jan, well fucile will get sold.

we were one inch from signing him, and they just came and stole him

dont get upset but i really dont think you can call that stealing, you hadnt signed him and the player ended up join porto for whatever reason and thats pretty much it...

that reason is what bothers me, you dont know what sort of gme pinto da costa plays.

regardless i am happy we didnt spend 13 mil for this player, i would pay 10 max. i rather spend that money to get ansaldi.

juvenel juve was never front imo we bid 10 mil you guys bid 7 mil. He himself said benfica is a good destination for me, he never said something like that abt juve. Infact ac milan were ahead of juve.

Danilo has been linked with AC Milan in recent days, but experienced agent Caliendo says he will go to Juve.

well i guess you aare right then, but i recall us being linked with hm from the start of this transfer window. one thing is for sure porto was behind benfica.

This always seem to happen with Porto (and also Benfica)

Players like Danilo, Witsel, Otamendi, Garay, Iturbe all get linked with prestigious clubs and then you just read "x signs for Porto/Benfica"

Those clubs must have some excellent negotiating staff

The Daily Mail says Juventus have been in the driving seat for the 24-year-old over recent weeks and have been talking over a £10million offer but Leverkusen want closer to £15m.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is also a big fan and knows Vidal has the capability to fit comfortably into his Arsenal side whether it is to play centrally or wide.

He was used mainly as a defensive midfielder in his formative years but this season has played a more offensive role and ended up with ten goals and the mantle of Leverkusen's leading scorer.

Chelsea are considering alternatives should their move for Tottenham's Luka Modric fail and they could offer the finance that Leverkusen want. Juventus have scheduled a meeting for this week and will press home their desire to sign him but another top English club is also showing interest and may move if other transfer dealings develop.

if it were true its the best news ive heard all transfer season, but in all fairness it was posted on tribal football, THE most unreliable source i know

Came on after45mins in the loss to Gil, the first of the season, the first in like 50 something games. He couldnt really do anything, the entire team were just playing horribly.

Also came off the bench at half time against Guimaraes before that but I didnt watch that game. I think that might of been his first game, IDK.

There was a midweek cup game, 2 nil win against Setubal which he started at rightback and played the full 90. I also missed that. On the bright side Alex Sandro started who I rate very highly and so did Mangala, Janko and Lucho. Both Janko and Lucho scoring on their debuts.

They play today against União de Leiria so I will watch that, doubt Danilo starts though. Then again, Man City in midweek so who knows.

started pretty well against man city... is he really out for the rest of the season now? that's so unlucky. poor kid!!

he had also just been called up for brazil's next game.............. he was probably seen as a player to play at the Olympics for us, so now he's probably out of that too... damn!

Damn....big blow. The only attack minded rightback.

Maicon going to have to fill that void full time. Mangala is impressive in the center so thats not bad, but this is a blow.
