Davinson has been great in general play this season but he's had his fair share of mistakes. Singlehandedly cost Spurs points against Watford also, and maybe today too. Growing pains with having a young centerback.

Spurs haven't been good enough anyhow. Sissoko starting ffs. Is lamela sick, injured? Come on...

Hope Spurs drop points tbh just to illustrate again to Poch how starting Sissoko is one of the worst mistakes you can make in football

Start Sissoko, drop points. It's a trend. He's like playing a man down.

Unlucky own goal but didn't deserve the win tbh. Only thing I'm annoyed about is that the two worst cases of weather I've seen in the EPL this year have both been Spurs. Makes it difficult to play with the pitch flooded

Nah Poch is still the best Spurs can get, and there is no reason to get rid of him. Decision to start and play Sissoko is shocking to say the least though.

Again, if you look at the expected points table that Jay brought up, Spurs are second. Their position in the table doesn't match how the team has played overall.

Levy needs to sell Sissoko without Poch's permission though. Pretty sure those two are in a relationship or something. The sooner Wanyama gets back to full fitness and starts, the better. Alderweireld is on the way back etc etc

Not worried about top 4. Spurs will make it, probably at Pool's expense.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team that relies on one player more than spurs with Kane. If Kane left tomorrow spurs would struggle to finish 10th. They are a bang average team with a top class striker tbh.

Martial has 9 in 1000 minutes

we'll have the best attack in the league, possibly the world imminently

Well what Unique means is long term and over the seasons probably.

Salah has certainly taken us up a notch but even last year our top was a winger Sadio Mane while Coutinho and Firmino both broke the 10 goal barrier aka goals from everywhere which is valid this year as well with Firmino on 17 and Coutinho left with 12 while Spurs have son at 11 and then Alli at 8.

Spurs are certainly the most one man dependent team in the top 6 but its not as bad Unique portrays.

Eriksen has as many as Mane and Son only has two less than Firmino (while playing less minutes and in a winger role). Then you've got Kane who's got three more than Salah. Dele hasn't many in the EPL but will reach double figures, I think both in general and in the EPL by the end of the season. Had something like ~18ish EPL goals last year.

The statistics don't really match well for you lot. Liverpool has Mane, Salah, Firmino. Spurs has Son, Kane, Eriksen, and all three of those players either match Pool's players or are within a couple goals (better or worse). Not to mention Dele.

This is a long winded explanation to essentially say that objectively Nish you and Unique are wrong Laughing

Kane accounts for 47% of Spurs goals in the PL, Salah 33%.

Spurs are reliant on Kane to get them goals no doubt. Alli is an absolute fraud. Wouldn't look out of place at Palace or Bournemouth. Son is terrific but inconsistent, Eriksen is fantastic but not the type to win you games on his own. He needs talent around him. So banter aside, I do agree that they're the Harry Kane team when it comes to getting results. I do think Spurs need another proven goal-scorer, struggling to think of someone attainable that would be perfect for them tbh. Are Draxler and Di-Maria suffering at PSG? Alli needs replacing. I know CB will go to bat for him, but he's just not good enough.

Ideally you want to embarrass Juve and then tap up Dybala for the summer after the game IMO

Srsly. Group stage stats in CL/EL are mostly irrelevant. I'm willing to allow knockout stats used in arguments, but looking at the general quality of European groups you see more class in the Championship. Joselu would have a hattrick against Maribor.

Kane accounts for 47% of Spurs goals in the PL, Salah 33%.

You no longer have Coutinho. If we look at Salah's goals without Coutinho's as a model for the second half of the season (by taking away Coutinho's goals so far) it becomes 38% (rounding down). Of course more of Spurs goals are going to be by Kane, since he's a top 5 striker in the world.

But it's a less than 9% difference between Kane and Salah. The only reason Kane is that high is because Dele is off form.

@Firenze Dele might not be scoring as much this year but he's 5th most assists in the EPL with seven. He's merely 21 and still developing as a player. I'm not worried, and he's definitely good enough. That's not to make any excuses for games like today and his general play. I'd personally like to see him rotated in/out a bit more instead of automatic starter, I think he's gotten a bit complacent and is trying to do too much because he knows he's off form. Would honestly take some pressure off of him, probably.
