David de Gea admits winning the FA Cup is not good enough for a club like Manchester United who must aim for "bigger and better things".

De Gea was named United's player of the year for a record fourth time, but the Spaniard does not feel it has been a good season for the club who can only finish second behind Premier League champions Manchester City, and also crashed out of the Champions League to Sevilla.

cant wait to sign him.

Of course it's not good enough coming from a treble winning season. We should have been competing for every trophy with our squad.

Spurs stadium was designed with a retractable turf so NFL games can be played on it, it wouldn't surprise me to find out that Levi is behind the move to bring the NFL to london.

in the last 10 years liverpool have sold torres suarez sterling coutinho alonso and masharano. now im gonna take a punt here and say if liverpool had the city owners for the last 10 years we would have not only kept most of them players we would also have won a few trophies and signed another 10-15 top class players to go with them. the one and only reason why you leached off madrid as a football team is because they have the power and money to buy the best players in the world. now im sure they had no chance of doing that if they didnt have your support doc.

Actually, at the time I had not a single clue what Real Madrid was. Just had like their uniform and how they played. And Zamarano (to which I only found out more about him in WC 98, had just liked his hair and how he scored goals). Trust me, my support of Madrid had literally nothing to do with past glory. Just an innocent fella who thought they looked cool in white.

Jordi Cruyff believes Pep Guardiola came close to joining Manchester United before taking up the Bayern Munich job in 2013.

Cruyff, son of Dutch legend Johan and a former United midfielder himself, is currently manager of Maccabi Tel Aviv, but will leave the Israeli club in the summer after six years in charge.

In an exclusive interview with Sky Sports, Cruyff says Pep and United had been "aligned", but the Old Trafford club eventually opted for David Moyes instead.

The agreement was announced on Friday afternoon, meaning the Reds legend will leave his role as U18s boss at the Academy to begin his tenure with the Glasgow-based side ahead of the 2018-19 season.

Too soon. He only managed the U18 side (not even the U23, FFS) for just a season.
