Pre-Season 2018

Loving Guendouzi so far, I missed having a CM who is comfortable on the ball and can launch a throughball with ease. You would think having Aubameyang as a forward would mean more attempts to put him through on goal but we are only now seeing such a sight thanks to Guendouzi.

Martinez, Ramsey and Lacazette on for Leno, Elneny and Iwobi.

1-1. Nkuku penalty.

Weah has had the beating of our defence for pace all game. Kolasinac could barely keep up and just took him out from behind.

2-1 Arsenal. Lacazette with a great finish from a Smith-Rowe cross.

Chambers, Holding, Smith-Rowe, Nelson and Nketiah have all come on for Sokratis, Mustafi, Ozil, Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan.

3-1. Lacazette again, heading in from close range after a good set-piece.

Eddie tried to claim it but I think it was over the line before he got a touch.

Maitland-Niles on for Kolasinac. He's playing LB.

Willock on for Guedouzi.

Emery should stop trying to shoehorn both Auba and Lacazett into the same line up imo. Both have played best as lone forwards

Auba scored most of his goals from the left last season. He and Laca combine very well.

Holding makes it 4-1 with a stupidly great header.

5-1. Nketiah gets his goal. Tidy finish across the keeper.

Some confusion over the goalscorers since apparently Laca's 1st was an OG and his 2nd was Nketiah's.

Nonetheless, a fun game against a very weak PSG side. The kids continue to look very sharp and eager to impress.

On to Dublin for a game against Chelsea on August 1st.

We should get most of our other World Cup players back next week. The Chelsea game will be too soon, but they might get some minutes against Lazio on August 4th.
