Too soon to say the dream is over. The Championship is a rough league even the better teams go through poor periods.

Leeds have a good squad and should at least be contending the play-offs. The key is to be around there with 13 or so games to go. Any team which times a good run for that final stretch has a good chance of nicking an automatic spot.

Long long way to go. Like Jay said, it's a rough league. And Leeds have only lost once in 12 games so they are hard to beat.

I still think once most of those injured guys for Leeds get healthy they will in the end finish at least 2nd. They will get promoted.

Isn't Leeds owner really wealthy?

WBA is doing well. Usually relegated teams struggle in their first year in Championship. But it seems they want to get promoted straight away.

He's decently wealthy but that's not much of an advantage in the Championship these days. Plenty of lower league clubs benefiting from foreign investment atm.

Oh ok, thanks. For some reason, I thought I read somewhere a few years back that the Leeds owner was among the richest owners as far as football club owners (was in the lower top 10, in a list of the 10 richest owners in club football), but that was a few years back and many drinks ago so I am sure I remember that all wrong Very Happy

Pukki lmao

Scored a hattrick for Schalke once and I think these were basically the only goals he ever scred in all his time there

Harry Wilson is running his own goal of the season competition. Another worldie today:

Leeds went back top with a win away to Sheffield United earlier today. Second placed Norwich currently losing to lowly Rotherham.

Absolutely clutch game by Leeds. From losing 2-0 to winning 2-3 and clinching that top spot again.

Seems the spying worked.

Essentially Poch has no issues with diving, Bielsa spies on people and Solari puts his finger by his mouth when things not working out. Nice.

teams actually used to do the spying routine in the 80s. especially big teams in europe, it changed with security becoming even more paramount, around the 90s-00s

The hilarious thing about this spy row over here is that some notable journalists, as usual, are getting on their soapbox about how unsporting it all is, while ignoring that one of their own leaked England's team sheet and tactics before a World Cup game last summer. They're the last people to criticise others about spying.

I'm not sure what punishment Bielsa and Leeds will get, if they'll get one at all.

Besides that, Leeds looked very good last night. Probably the first game I've watched them and thought they were shoe-ins for promotion. Derby offered nothing throughout the whole game.

Jack Clarke for Leeds will be playing for a PL team one way or another soon enough. Looks very good for an 18 year old.

Not Championship, but whatever:

Charlie Kelman, 17 years old, making his debut for Southend (my "local" team), scoring from the halfway line.
