For the season so far, they equal 3PM, Hield has 0.4ppg less, 0.8 rpg less, and 1.5 apg less. Both their steals are relatively insignificant (0.6 Hield, 0.9 Luka), same for blocks (Hield actually does 0.2 better altho again, insignificant). Hield averages a whole 1.4 TO/game less while having a significant advantage in FT%. Both about the same in fg%

I would argue, yeah, Luka has more upside as the season goes on and that's why I'm not saying that Hield is as good as Luka. That's why I would include another player.

But numbers wise, Hield and Luka aren't so different. Luka gets some more assists and rebounds, but suffers in ft% and TO compared to Hield.

Another player would have been included, but if Luka was enough, I don't see the reason why Hield would need that great of a player packaged with

Anyway, it's all in the past now

Hield has a downside in Bogdanovic recovering, we don't know what his minutes will look like now.

Hield isn't maintaining that lol and he's still lower anyway.

Luka isn't likely to drop off if anything he might get better.

Hield is just a shooter and exactly what I'm trying to get away from, when making trades this early you don't just evaluate current stats, but what they might project to be and their overall skillset.

I made a conscious decision that Doncic will offer more in different categories, than he already is and Hield never will.

He's basically been one since Cousins went down last season.

Significantly upped his aggression, leadership and this season he's averaging damn near 20 and 10 with all NBA defence (although this part doesn't matter for fantasy lol)

Only 2 blocks yesterday smh. One by Towns and one by Wiggins. I expected at least 6.

As i've said earlier we both already have 3 categories on lock. FT%, not decided yet but it seems like i'm gonna win this, makes it 4-3 at the start of the week end.

This week end is a battle for steals and blocks. My squad play 14 games, yours play 12.
