I sent messages to Freeza, Urban, Winter, could not reach CBucks... although it's a bit pointless, the problem is will they log in to GL within next week, it's doubtful

Anyways the draft would be next sunday or or at worst next monday

they know... i mean surely they know NBA is starting soon, and with that comes fantasy too... so if they really wanted to play, they'll tap in and touch base... otherwise they probably don't want to anymore

is it possible for the four of us to create a league and wait for some randoms to fill the remaining spaces on yahoo?

I have one friend from whom we could expect a decent involvement because the lad is a competitor with good NBA knowledge. That's really an emergency measure if we got 7 guys, but 3 guys totally random on top of that is not interesting, screw that imo

And yes i had the same thought process as you but maybe they thought about it at work or in the car and then forgot to manifest their interest on GL. Objectively last season was the best (although my own team was shite) because for the first time everybody was involved weekly if not daily.

I already found extremely emergency measures to save GL fantasy in which we all compete strictly against each other in points game but there is also a separate standing GL vs other groups. A huge community of passionates and more knowledgeable than Yahoo based on their respective comment sections. Big problem the whole game is in french (but very simple and i can translate) maybe Yahoo offers something similar.

As of now i consider our chances of playing as usual is 50-50, only next week-end i start to panic

Btw the friend i talked about got initiated to Yahoo fantasy last season, in a league of randoms of course, he told me it was active the first 2 weeks but it was dead soon enough, only the podium competed and by that i mean streaming once a week

Just to be clear we will to find a solution to play NBA fantasy with any GL poster this season that's 100% sure. It's just that i rather play a 4 man daily format points league with people whom i know in the slightest than 9-cat draft format league with half of randoms.
