So are Liverpool with their highest point tally ever or Ajax playing on steroids and slaying all the difficult clubs away from home. Compared to that, Atletico parking the bus and hoping for a corner goal is a walk in the park.

Its always easy to get complacent, especially know Salah, the biggest threat to be out, and Firminho. But I think after Roma last season, we wont anymore. We are well rested, won the league, and wanna keep our form, so unless Liverpool pull off another best or one in a life time performance, and get some luck, no come back this time. In fact, if Messi and the team really wanna be ruthless, they can just play keep ball and hit Liverpool when they tire, increasing the aggregate

I wanted Firmino and Salah to start the game but that was sad to hear. No more exciting games left in CL this year. Looking orward to Ajax vs Spurs. Hope it will be very interesting.

VVD is ok to play...anyway. If Barca takes it lightly they will suffer. Anfield is a huge stadium and one or two early goal means Liverpool will start believing and Barca will start losing confidence. I still think anything can happen like the Spurs vs City. Should be a great game for neutrals and nerve-racking for both the fans.

^ I'd honestly be very confident of overturning the deficit if both Salah and Firmino were fit to start.

as it is, I have zero expectations of the match, and will certainly just try to enjoy the occasion. Klopp has said we're gonna have a party and why not! I'm not bothered if we lost 8-0 on aggregate ot 2-3, may as well go all out and give it our best.

Having said that, it's Anfield on a big European night and strange things tend to happen sometimes. I would have never imagined us beating peak Tuchel Dortmund when we were down 1-3 until 70th minute at Anfield.

An early goal or two by us, or an early red card for you and then who knows...
