Unfortunately, Villa have been a non-entity during this second half. Spurs have battered them.

Grealish sleeping on the ball for that Kane winner is just

Mings was actually very good until it went badly for villa from equalizer onwards
Mcginn is good but when angles are closed he looks one footed and has nowhere to go

Also Burnley already at it

The arm is not a body part with which you can score a goal so it shouldn't factor into an offside offence decision

Yeah isn't the rules basically anything you can gain an advantage with? Last time i checked someones finger tips isn't exactly something you're allowed to use score a goal Laughing

Unless the rules changed without me realising by the letter of the law it's not offside.

You can disrupt the goalkeeper's view with your hands -- I presume this is the logic behind it.

Bit late saying this but I've been moving.

Anyway, if that game yesterday hasn't convinced you of Eriksen's quality and his importance to Tottenham, I don't know what will. Was screaming for Poch to bring him on and when he did, the game turned around immediately. Sure, I think some of it was Aston Villa tiring out, and sure, it was just Aston Villa. However, Eriksen was brilliant.

If Spurs can't get more than 40m for him, they ought to just keep him. The type of performances and his importance to the team might very well be the difference between CL and no CL. It might be the difference between challenging for the EPL (I'm not expecting that tbf) and not. Or the difference between a group stage or RO16 exit in CL vs quarters or semis.

Obviously I hope he stays and extends. He's a joy to watch.
