I didn’t realize both of the Benders play for Leverkusen now. Is «bank» a word you typically use to refer to the bench, or is that a German word for it?

Bank is the German word for bench, I just get confused because the words are the same for the financial institution (Bank = bank) so I keep making the mistake of using bank for bench too


oh and I copied it the sub lineup from BVBs German twitter so I didn't correct the word

Leverkusen are enjoying a lot of possession in these opening minutes. I wish they would try to exploit Hakimi’s side more frequently, so I can observe how he performs defensively more. He’s been quite underwhelming in that respect when I’ve watched him before.

I’ve hardly seen him myself he had a decent chance from an angle in the first half, didn’t score. Sancho almost set him up for a great chance, but the pass was a bit awkward to control. Hasn’t seen the ball much apart from that.

Does Witsel ever score? It’s almost as if he’s trying to miss the goal.
