Betis threw on every forward they could and kept coming at Sevilla, who had no pace to get out and tiring forwards who couldn't keep the ball. But Sevilla dug in, wasted time with some good shithousing and made some great blocks.

When Lopetegui arrived, I was worried his style of play would fall apart with Sevilla's poor defence. But so far, he's improved that defence massively from last season. Keeping the ball more helps, but as a whole it looks the most organised it has for years. Diego Carlos and Fernando have been great additions back there.

Btw, Navas now has the most wins ever for a Sevilla player, on top of having the most appearances. Hard to believe he's 33.

Barcelona getting absolutely lucky with a win today, Atleti spending all that money to still be playing the same shit football and Real Madrid actually looks good nowadays. And Milan is 5 points above the relegation.
