PSG isnt the type of a team who can really play possession is it? thats what i got impression on
like u said feel like they are better off going all in but risking more at the back...

though this is dortmund as opponent and not some ligue 1 team (w/ all due respect) so one dortmund goal and they are done basically...

Who could've predicted a team from the farmers league would look bang average the moment they play against a proper team in a match that actually means something.

I think Madrid didn't go for him because the kid wanted to play regularly and he couldn't have that as a guarantee at Madrid with Benzema still around.

I love Madrid, but I hate their approach sometimes to buy youngsters and let them rot on the bench. So I'm really happy for Haaland for making the right choice.

If he keeps this up, he's going to be the hottest striker in Europe in a few years' time.

well i am not surprised that much by his goalscoring form... kid had something special, ever since i saw him play against honduras game and scored 9 goals back in 2018

So Mbappe was terrible in the CL yet again. I am starting to think that a near 200M investment on him will be a waste of money if he can't lead the line and can't dribble.

In all fairness the PSG's only real chance was created by Mbappé's dribbling.

that's the thing, i wouldnt consider Mbappe a great dribbler, he is pretty average actually. He is a speed demon that will toast you if you give him space though, and his space obviously makes teams panic as well.

Tuchel has a lot of responsibilities in this though, he is a rather poor coach all things considered. He spent the last 2 months playing a formation that he just abandoned as soon as he saw the CL. I still expect them to go through but they shouldnt be struggling this much.

People are underrating the Dortmund squad and overrating the PSG one. Sure PSG have Neymar and Mbappe who are better than anyone in the Dortmund squad but it you look beyond them, Dortmund have more quality overall imo. They were even missing Reus and Brandt. The likes of Meunier, Kurzawa, Sarabia, Gueye wouldn’t play for Dortmund. PSG’s transfer policy is a joke compared to Dortmunds.

PSG likely still go through but it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Dortmund won at least one game against them. They have quality all over the squad and just added a massive player in Haaland since that Inter game.

Agree that half of PSG's squad are meh, however PSG are always going to be overrated because of the two most expensive players in the world they own.

Okay, maybe I'm in the minority, but I think a better manager would've done better than Tuchel with the same squad against Dortmund.

Wondering if Sport has an opinion on this game? PSG's defense is crap we all know, but surprised how their midfield and attack look so disconnected and often the front three didnt even both to defend. Gana and Marcaqious (spelling) was so poort. In fact I dont see so much the value of them if even they cant cover enough for the defense. That LB Kurzawa must be the worst LB around.

For all the money PSG spend, they are loaded up front but still so bad at the back.

Dortmund didnt even have Reus, Brandt, and had Can and Haaland who were both new. Can looked really good btw, who would have thought.
