Not really but I think this has more to do with the tactics and positioning that the team is being told to stay in. He does not seem to have any sort of freedom to go through the midfield and pick out people. If he did it would cause all kinds of problems with the predictability we need to show by passing it up the wings and crossing to nobody.

Any idea why Arteta is not playing Xhaka and Ødegaard in the last few matches??? Espcially Xhaka, he was always present in the first 11 but now he hasnt played for a few games now!!!

Not many shots from us (as usual) but we're playing quite well. Pulling off some good switches of play and getting players behind Palace's backline. Forcing lots of last-ditch tackles from them.

It's a bit prickly out there, though. Palace are fired up for Hodgson's last game. A bit of playacting from our lot unfortunately. Schlupp nearly broke Chambers' ankle. Typical late season stuff lol.

Palace do look threatening from set-pieces. Our marking hasn't been right and we keep losing Benteke.

Saka just looks gassed. Can't seem to accelerate past anyone at the moment.

Not surprising when he's played nearly 2500 minutes (2nd highest, behind Leno). Smith Rowe has 1284 minutes this season.

Partey, Elneny and Gabriel combined were not able to stop benteke for the goal. Pepe is worth every penny. All he needs is a player who can find him consistently via through balls or long diagnols. The amount of time he asked for the ball today to be played behind the defence was astonishing but no one has the ability to find a good pass.

Ødegaard I think read my previous post asking about a good pass he has ever played. Today he did one moment of magic and it lead to a goal.

We were playing well in the first half. We were moving the ball quiet well. I dont know what was said during the break we just got f**** in the second half. Outmatched in total attempts by a Roy Hodgson team is very concerning. We should lure Galtier from Lille and unleash pepe from the wing.

This was the easiest season to finish top 4 in looking at the points required to finish 3rd n 4th. I mean we are finishing what 10 odd points behind 4th. That's just 3-4 more wins we SHOULD have had. It's all ifs n buts but I doubt we will get another season where Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs are all as bad as they have been this season

West Ham winning means 7th is as high as we can finish. Which would be the Europa Conference League.

Spurs away to Leicester and Everton away to City on the final day, too.

What does winning the Europa Conference league get you lol?

5th and 6th are Europa League places, 7th is Conference League.

Winning the Conference League gets you a Europa League group stage place.

So yeah, for us it's almost worthless.
