Oh and her love for GKs was stuff of legends.. Yann Sommer and Neuer were among her favs, iirc

Dostoevsky just another example.

Never forget when she banned me for debuting the term 'bundesfodder' on GL

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure RG tried to contact her through Skype or a similar platform, and she never replied. Seems a bit strange for a mod to just up and leave, as well as ignore attempts from other mods to contact her, but of course, it doesn't necessarily have to mean that anything out of the ordinary happened to her.

Or telling me not to call Draxler Scheißler.
I remember that though Bundesfodder is immortalised here so should remain

There’s no way Dortmund are beating Bayern with Haaland being forced into a playmaking role

Haaland's shot is blocked by Neuer. That should've been a goal. Is no one else watching this match?

Goal from Kimmich! Assisted by Lewandowski. That was an odd scorpion-like kick off the rebound 3-2.

I actually couldn't watch it.
At the moment, Union 3-0 up vs Mainz who have also sacked their coach this week
Kruse with his first goal for Union
Karius on the Union bench

My first thought was: "You know what? He had already made an assist and scored a goal, so I really can't ask more from a striker, especially a 20-year old".
But then I tried to look at it from a Dortmund fan's perspective. Even if you're very, very young and has had already a terrific performance in the game with assists and goals to your name, missing a golden chance like that with your team already one goal behind does inevitably cast a shadow over everything you had done prior to that moment.
Having said all that, I'm going to go back to my first thought Haaland has terrific potential and Dortmund are very lucky to have him.

I cannot say much about them, have not seen them often under Rose so far
Generally, they are overachievers since years due to good DoF work and coaching
They do NOT have the economic fundament to be a Champions League club really, and always have a young, rather no name squad, with top players sold regularly (usually to Buyrussia Dortmund - Reus, Hazard, Dahoud, but also Ter Stegen, Xhaka..).
I'm also sure they are broke due to CoVid this season, they haven't strengthened as far as I can see.
Rose is a very good coach, they press hard, are compact and well drilled.
They have a couple of interesting young French strikers in Plea and Thuram, and they have another midfield star in the making in Zakaria who's a great young player.
Not to be underestimated, but I don't think they have the squad, level nor gravitas to compete with Inter or Real.
I see the group finishing as
1. Inter
2. Shaktar
3. Real
4. Gladbach

By the way, with the way Madrid are playing right now, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of them not reaching the round of 16, as meager as the chance may seem.

Yeah, I don't know how we're supposed to beat anyone, to be honest. We can defend alright, but we have no reliable goalscorer. I'd trade 5 of our players for 1 Haaland, these days. It's depressing.
