I'll take it. 0-1 is still a lot less embarrassing than ending this game 0-0.

Hopefully we get some of our injured players back in the return leg and finish this off at ~~the Bernabeu~~ Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.

Wonder how this game would've ended if that red had not been given. Just something for our board to think about.

Hugo Durro sounds like a name rejected by the creator of Bleach.

Also, this match reminded me why I really rather watch any other football match playing than my own loved team. Zidane with his shit starting line up (mind you, our squad is based on his transfer choices), his shit coaching and of course, our even more in shit form attacking players, yup, really cannot stand it.

And to make it worse, Madrid is the only Spanish side to win their tie in the CL.

I never thought I'd say that, myself. I don't think I'll ever truly support another team, but even Leeds United stimulate me more than Real Madrid do, these days.

I didn't expect that, but it doesn't surprise me either. Even with poor form, misfiring forwards, no creativity, an injury ridden star player, and even poor football for the most part, we still won the league last season. And that should be a great thing, but I can't force myself to care. It feels a bit similar to succeeding in a game I don't care for.. like, Mahjong.

Agree with the Madrid fans who can't stand to watch this team.

I have never been more disinterested in a team in my life and have stopped watching the team altogether.

Zidane has really made this team dire. And don't tell me it's about the quality of the players. There's plenty Danish teams with a more interesting approach to the game.

No, you're right. I think Zidane with all of his flaws can thrive in an all star-studded team because he's a legend of the game and commands respect in the dressing room.

But he would be a terrible, terrible, terrible choice for a club looking to build their team from the ground up or during a transition. He's simply not that guy.
