I do think there are differences. I see shades of Xavi in Gavi which I don't in Pedri.
Pedri plays more off the ball than Gavi.
Pedri is certainly more ambidextrous and has tow equally good feet. Gavi is ambidextrous too though not to the same extent as Pedri.
Pedri is also a better dribbler although unfortunately he has cut it out of his game.
Tough one to call this one. The third one in the trio Nico is not too shabby himself.

Definitely differences.

Pedri is the better defensive player right now. Has an uncanny ability to read the intentions of opponents. Gavi puts in the effort, but is more rash and therefore commits more fouls.

Gavi seems more explosive in his actions, Pedri more langid. Just a matter of style and build. But this translates in other areas.

Gavi receives balls on his back foot, already partly turned, this unlocks the ability to explode past the next man or immediately take up space quickly.

Pedri likes more taking the ball back into the direction in which it came, therefore unbalancing the nearest man who instinctively would expect Pedri to move forwards the goal.

Interested to see the future difference in terms of shooting, finishing and final balls.

I think today might go down as the birth of a glorious 20 year long campaign of hate @harmonica
