Is this from the Sun, by any chance? They have previous with things like these and where they get their figures from isn't clear.

I don't really pay much attention to them. At one point Sol Campbell, aged 35, was apparently the fastest player in the Premier League. You don't need to be an expert in stats to know that he isn't.

Laurent Koscielny is by far not the slowest players in our squad. That honour belonged to Denílson, and now probably goes to Squillaci.

I don't get this why is Balotelli labelled the quickest look at all of those other people who are tied with him. What does fittest mean, is that how long they can run without stopping? Crap Arsenal's a fast team lol

It was from the mail back in April (before the S*n scum joined them a month ago....so credibility is still there ) I also think, they haven't sampled all of the players. Surely Friedel is slower than Albrighton, or VDS slower than Fabio ??

Tbh Walcott isnt that fast, if he was in a 100m race, he might manage 20m, then he would get injured and need to be carried the rest of way on a stretcher.
