It worked well an along the plan in last seasons as explained.
This season, it seems to be going along the plan too, for now. We have really seen a big improvement in fitness from mid february to now. Remember how tired the players seemed and Messi didn't even run in January-February?

In theory, the fitness peak arrives around 3 months after the highest intensity training you did, so if everything works out, we should still improve from now on until mid-may, ensuring a perfect fitness until mid-may/end of the season (CL final 19-may, King's Cup, 25 may).

Let's see if it works.

About Xavi, every player is a different human and can have different reactions. Also, he was a bit injured during the charge phase, so he might have not been able to go through it.
