Euro has gone to 5hit...
The selloff took hold after the European commission president warned that the crisis in the eurozone was threatening to engulf Italy and Spain. Fears over the health of the global economy, and predictions that America could slide back into recession, also helped to drive the latest bout of heavy selling.
Italy and Spain are fked...
Thats Sneijder to Utd done then, Cesc probably wont join Barca now...
It means no more Madrid handouts from the banks and Barcas loss leader financial clusterfcuk getting worse as we speak

Madrid doesn't need any banks, Ronaldos shirt sales functions even better than any sort of loans banks offers. And they aren't even loans.

Re: Euro has gone to 5hit...
This should solve Sneijders wage demands for his move to us
This fks up AC Milan as well, no way can Italy need a bailout yet Berlusconi is seen pumping millions into Milan
FYI madrids shirt sales have a ridiculous production cost since its in house
Utd have a deal with Nike where we sell them our name and they keep all the merch profit, were renewing that as Utd see no value in changing models.
Spain in trouble means higher production costs and less money to for fans to pay for shirts
Is the deck of cards in Italy and Spain crashing down? The Santos president was right lol
Maybe theyll make a bid for CR7 now...

Re: Euro has gone to 5hit...
Indeed we are doomed. Most of our players were bought with Berlusconi's own money like robinho and ibra.We might have to sell some players if things get ugly...

Re: Euro has gone to 5hit...
economy 101: currency value does not reflect the strength of the economy
for example Kuwait has the most expensive currency (3.3 dollars for dinar) but sure as hell they aint the best economy in the world, they're not even top 20
for the Euro, pricing higher is a problem since there product will be more expensive for non euro countries to buy
how that effects foodball ? well Berlusconi just lost 500 Million euros in a law suit so he might tighten up the belt, Inter debt problem has made them quiet in the market for the second strait season.
English teams are also not imune to the problem, they are the most in debt teams in europe and have to pay hug amounts for Interest, any dip in the merchandise sales or match day revenues and they'll be in deep shit
you also have to understand that no country inside the euro zone is safe, a collapse in italy or spain will effect the english as well, even a collapse in the states will effect europe and the rest of the world

Re: Euro has gone to 5hit...
I've got little idea what sort of implications a struggling economy will have on football, but the whole global economy is sinking deeper as we speak. Shares plunging down hard for the 2nd or 3rd day in a row, Eurozone is fckd - some countries more than others - the U.S. isn't getting anywhere with their economy and a double dip recession is looking likelier every day.

Re: Euro has gone to 5hit...
whys it a fail?
Italy and Spain arent in the 5hit because of the euro currency, the euro currency is in trouble because of the spanish and Italian economy .
I think bailouts is an excellent indicator as to the state of their relative economies lol, and Italy and Spain are about to break out their begging bowls
England will be affected, but nowhere near as our 2 big league rivals are facing, its common sense

:lol!: :lol!: :lol!: @ you for mixing Spanish economy with Barça economy. Barça revenue continued to grow during the worst parts of the recession (2008-2010). Spanish economy is not getting worse now, the opposite. The problem is the public debt, which is important, but it's not "the whole economy"

:lol!: :lol!: :lol!: @ you too for believing that Madrid earns substantial money from Ronaldo's shirt sales!
I already busted this myth many times, but I can do it again if you want.
